When did that happen? We always stopped at that place every visit. And made a purchase too. Gave out the Statler xmas ornaments for gimmick gifts every year. Darn it. And the $1 reading glasses were a must buy.

As a coaster junkie, the rides at  SFSL and WOF may have some more speed and thrills. But when combined with SDC and the feeling I get while there, the rides can't be beat. Theming and family atmosphere make the wait to ride so much more appealing. A last minute ride on TNT while heading toward the exit is a feeling I cannot describe. I guess call it nostalgia or sentimental feelings but it's a place that gives me peace that I can't reproduce at any old Amusement park.

Looks like it has been gone for a while. Wonder if the weather did it in.

It was way down in the valley, surrounded by trees about halfway between Branson and SDC. Barely a speck it seemed. Would have been on the right side when traveling toward Branson and one could peer over the guardrail, look down. My mom always pointed it out when i was younger. 60's and 70's. Wonder what happened to it.

SDC Memories/ Park History / Bumper stickers on you car after show

I remember walking out of Pressley's (and every other show/attraction) and free of charge you had a big ole bumper sticker stuck on your big ole chrome bumper. My dad would get incensed. LOL Advertising at it' s finest in the mid 70's.

Random Talk / Glad to be here

Have been going to SDC since 1971(too young to remember my visit). Hope to be posting some cool pics of stuff collected over the years as myself and my parents are hoarders. I think I still have my SDC leather wallet(handmade) and viewfinder if I dig them out. I think I will pour myself a cool one into my orange SDC sipper. Glad to meet all of you. Love this place!
