General Silver Dollar City Talk / Need some ticket help

Wife and I are going down in late June to SDC. Im a SP holder but Is not. We usually Go on Guest pass days but her job will not allow it this time of year. Best discount or deal we can get for one day pass? I know I get a discount for being a pass holder but wondered if anything else out there. No TS. Lol

There in lies my issue.  This is not Six Flags or even an amusement park.  This is a theme park who's mystique is the rides being hidden from the main midway.  Why would we want the park to be like any other park?

I wish this board had a "like" button. ^^^He gets it.

  Your Slate link that you seem to need to back up your statement is not only one person's unreliable opinion, but it's from 2015.

I'm not starting anything. Fox News talked about it last on "The Five". Kimberly Gilfoile brought up the subject . That seems like current news to me. And no one is making a statement, I think you need to check yourself and exit through the gift shop.

Pro tip. Just go to the last page of the topic and go back a page or two to the last time you looked. It's pretty easy.

Lots of negative Nancy posts about something that hasn't even been completed yet. Judge the ride in spring and then see how it goes. If you can't ride in the back of a car without taking Dramamin, yes maybe you will not be able to handle it and that's fine. Just like being to short or to big to fit in the seat on other rides. Let it play out before assuming it will be unpopular.

I believe it was mentioned today that each ride on TT would be unique because of the random but controlled spin.

I hope we get more theming than was presented in the video. And while it won't effect me, I do think SDC will face an uphill battle in marketing to people who do not like spinning. I think the controlled spin will definitely help and the animation didn't look out of control to me. It just looks more like a turning motion than spinning. I think everyone should give it a chance before immediately shooting it down.

This looks like a great addition to the park and will offer something completely different from anything they have. I can't wait for 2018 to come to enjoy this amazing new addition. Three inversions, two launches, that first drop! Looks crazy and fun to me!

I think some of you are getting scared easily, if you can ride OR then I wouldn't think you will have problems with a controlled spin on TT.
