Well having large sections of each of the main theatres roped off with signs saying "Reserved for Show Lover's Pass" usually isn't a telltale sign of it existing. ;)  lol

^You didn't know because it WAS a "secret"  ;) :D

BS they don't do "preferred seating" -- it's called "Show Lovers Pass" and it took the place of the Chamber of Commerce building just inside the front gate across from the rental depot

No offense to some of you, but it seems as if you spent more time trying to figure out how to cheat then trying to enjoy the attraction the way it was meant to be enjoyed.

FWIW, the CHEAPEST gas in the Branson area is at the QT in Nixa.  ALWAYS gas up there before going into Branson as you will pay between 10-20 cents more in Branson then in Nixa because in Nixa you don't have to pay the tourist tax like you do in Branson.

ALSO, the rooms in Branson have a tourist tax added onto them whereas rooms in Branson West do not last time I checked

PRICELINE is your friend!

We usually stay at the Howard Johnson by what used be Starlite Theatre or at the Best Western Music City Inn across from Shoji.  We have never paid more than $40 to stay anywhere down there at brand name hotels using Priceline, and that includes peak season

Um, why don't you guys use Priceline and get a motel for under $40 bucks -- a name brand hotel at that?  That's how we roll.  ???

Wow, you car must get really poor gas mileage if you only live 2 hrs away and it costs that much to get there and back.  We live about 5 hours away and it costs us that much.  :-\

I don't think it will affect our traveling that much, because that is just what we do.  We'll just have to suck it up and realize that it will cost more to do so.

Don't expect an announcement to be made until near the end of Harvest Festival -- and that comes straight from the horse's mouth

Sure you can cheat (that's a secret little known fact you shouldn't be sharing) but it is more fun to actually try to hit the targets.  That score was without any cheating going on.  :P

Looks to me they spread themselves to thin on the off season.  They just need to hire an outside contractor to get the parking lot done within a certain amount of time.  There is really no excuse for the Culinary and Craft school's outside to not be finished.  They started too later working on it and should have had its outside at least finished... they should be in the "get inside done" phase by now.

Could those markers by GE be for an access road to get supplies to the new Culinary and Craft School?  It's not as if they will be able to drive through the park to get more supplies to it if need be.  They need a backstage access road to it and I think that is what is being built - a spur from the access road to Echo Hollow is more than likely what is going on here.'

As far as an expansion by TGS, they said that right now there has to be a lot more planning on how they are going to get access to the Opera House from the back stage area if they once again have to move the access road there behind the ride to accomodate another expansion that direction.  I think if they build anything back there, it needs to be another Red Gold Heritage Hall so they can have even more space for their festivals.
