Let's stretch that lead to 4 games, what say you?

CARDS win tonight and CUBS once again get a batting lesson.
Talk about some lopsided losses here lately by the Baby Bears

Cards were coming back but then Holliday struck out looking there in the 9th.
Oh well, you win some you lose some.

I guess the Cubs couldn't come back in extra innings?  Phillies are tough no matter where you play them

Cubs are getting hurt left and right, don't think you need to worry too much about them getting even into the playoffs.

I would personally love to see a Cardinals vs Yankees worldseries.  The ratings for that series would be through the roof as those are the two most followed franchises in MLB.

...and you lost another pitcher.  This time one of the two you picked up from Pitt.

Quite the lesson in batting practice the Rockies gave the Cubs tonight.  Ouch.

My question about that though, was how many of them were the "free tickets"

It's UP!

According to the recent press release in Branson Daily it is down 3% from last year, so I guess it had not changed much from the last time I asked after all.

The Carousel Barn was supposed to be a queue this year, but when the new ride did not go in then it was sort of "uh what do we do with this place now"

Mizzou had their Fan Appreciation Autograph Day today at Faurot Field -- it was nice to be back inside the stadium.  Sept 12th's opening home game can't get here soon enough.

They should do something like Legoland did with their Dragon coaster.  It starts off as a dark ride through the castle and lasts for quite a while before going outside and doing some fast helices.  It would be the best of both worlds.

Can the Cubs play the Rockies at Colorado more often  ;D

Thank goodness we are finally starting to pull away from the pack now.

Maybe time to team up with Hasbro and get some of the same "Make Your Own" stuff that Disney sells at it's parks -- "Make Your Own: Mr. Potato Head, Lightsaber, etc"

Team back up with Lego to bring in displays (better yet have Celebration City converted to a Legoland ;) )
