The YouTube live stream link has been posted to their instagram account. As a local who is there practically every week, tomorrow looks like a good day to... stay home and catch the announcement on YouTube and hit the wave pool and Pipeline Plunge in the evening. The heat and humidity this week has been brutal. I can marathon Time Traveler with the best of them, but even this heat test my limits.

I got some pictures today, but really nothing new that has not already been shown earlier this week. There are indeed supports on the Powder Keg side of the station, but they haven't been raised yet. The speed that they have applied theming to they Wildfire side of the ride is indeed most impressive.

Wow, the site is back online for three days and I can't decide if I'm reading TPR or CoasterBuzz from the early 2000's
(At least CoasterBuzz has matured into some pretty interesting takes from the business prospective of parks.)
Anyway, no photos from last week as 1) The evening I chose to go happened to be a evening that unleashed an hour and a half down pour and I had only minutes after I entered the park to choose a hiding place, and 2) I just wanted to chill that night and not worry about any pictures anyway.

Construction/Rumors / Re: White Water Possible Relocation
July 17, 2026, 09:41:44 AM
It gets very busy, rest assured. The best part about Whitewater? It's small and everything is close together. The worst part about Whitewater? It's small, can feel cramped on busy days, and has few good options to expand or build new changing rooms for that matter. (It could be argured that my local community center in Harrison has better changing rooms.) I love how small it is and how easy it is to get to, and I would miss it. But I have been bracing for a move for years. Hopefully the new one would have a shuttle that runs between gates to make going between the two parks easier.

Here are a few of my pictures from this hot and steamy Thursday. http://youtube.com/post/UgkxHLmDkt_GzxyjlGiyQWVUa7phS4KVFltM?si=coPwrfTK36yvIpa-
If this does turn out to be a Stryker or launched Big Dipper, I would sure be interested to see the reach board clearances on the Wildfire side of the station because it sure plays tricks with the eyes looking at it going up the lift.

Hopefully this means the airship and the weather room will be repaired too. It's taken a keen eye, but the lab/office has been updated from time to time over the years. It's easy to forget that Wildfire is a bit of an uncommon bird with those trains. We are fortunate to have it.

I remember just before Wildfire was announced in August of 2000, rumor mills where swirling that project 2001 would be a B&M invert. Perhaps one of the loudest platforms for this was the Wild Rumors section of thrilride.com. According to interviews after Wildfire opened, Wildfire came much closer to being a standup than an invert. A standup was turned down to try and lower the height requirement if I remember correctly. I think we wound up with the best possible choice of the three, although I was sure hoping for an invert at the time.
These days I can just enjoy the process of seeing it built while waiting for the reveal. The interesting footer work on the Powder Keg side of the station sure has peaked my interest. No way currently to get good photos of it.
(RIP thrillride.com, the Whoppers of the Week were some of the most entertaining reads on the internet.
)

I know some have reported supports near outlaw run but I'm curious as to how beefy or tall they lookedThe columns so far have been too far away to get a good sense of scale. The width of the pass thru in the station seeems to be on par with 2 wide coasters like Powder Keg or TNT, etc, but even that right now is subjective. Only thing you can get great looks at right now is the footer design, which coincidentally or not, uses a threaded rebar anchor bolt design similar to which can be seen on Time Traveler from the first floor.

That was hyperbole, wasn't meant to be taken literally. To highlight the ridiculousness of taking a 50mm lens on a Roller Coaster. I apologize for the confusion.

Obviously no photos because they're not visible from the park except on the coaster and we don't do that. What is more, the camera lens required to get a good shot of the staging area would look out of place on the Frisco Silver Dollar Line, let alone a roller coaster. Good knot hole shots will be available in due time

As of last Sunday, there were round welded columns, look just like supports, in the staging area, as seen from the lift of Outlaw Run. Won't be able to go again until later this week at the earliest. I live pretty close, but it is still about a 60 mile round trip by the time I make it around the lake, have to manage my fuel.

I agree, from Outlaw Run today Sunday June 14, you can see more pieces for it in the staging area as well as what appears to be black round supports.
