S&S last I heard. RMC also has former Arrow employees.

And the fact OP never replies to the posts makes me think this is an elaborate data mining scam to phish email addresses.

^Did they have flared square ends? Those are the standard design Mack support columns. If not it may have just been standard water/sewer pipe.

I am glad they appear to be putting in effort with theming and landscaping around the new ride. One of my only disappointments with TT was how it still looked like a construction zone well after opening.

Heh I'll have to echo some comments I've seen on social media that it's pretty crazy to see that they are still in the pouring footers stage. No signs of track and supports or a station building yet.
I've also seen/heard that employees are referring to this as being both the largest investment and largest footprint attraction for the park.

Construction/Rumors / Re: Future SDC Development Speculation (Long-term)

So with ThuNderaTion leaving what do you think will go in it's spot? Obviously it will have to be another terrain based ride. A water ride may be possible but another coaster might be the more likely option. My shortlist is a terrain GCI that copies the layout and reuses the tunnels. Thunderhead is very popular and highly rated at Dollywood and they have invested a lot into it's maintenance in recent years to keep it running well for years to come. SDC could still use another woodie after being cheated out of one with Ozark Wildcat (RIP) as it would fit the same demographic TNT supported with it's ride height requirement and low temp operation. If not, a custom family invert from Vekoma like Flying Fox would also be a popular choice here.

Saw a few posts around the Internet talking about the construction. Everyone and I mean everyone is making note of how big the footers are. Lol I'm just over here surprised they are still in the footer construction phase and digging out large trenches, that footer garden next to Wildfire going into the woods is impressive too. I wonder when we will start seeing the station take shape along with track and supports?

Oh I know I just think its kinda funny if they are really gonna market this as the biggest mine train in the country or something since the employees I talked to all just smiled and said its gonna be big. Hopefully it's the longest in the park too. (4000+ft compared to TNT's 3100ft or the current longest one being Powderkeg at 3500ft)

Whats interesting too is at 0:53 in this drone footage the layout looks just like the footer pattern currently seen next to Wildfire from this perspective. https://youtu.be/27u69VGRGZ0?si=DqpS-rlrT4rubAL_&t=52

March 14, 2026, 04:44:27 PMQuote from: Wildfire on March 14, 2026, 08:45:49 AMI'm trying to figure out why everyone keeps saying these are Mack footers. I've done a pretty good amount of google and youtube research since these footers started showing up. They look more like a modern vekoma or B&M footer to me
It seems likely it is as these very closely resemble their construction methods. (4/6/8 studs evenly spaced) But if its somehow not from Mack I'd love to hear more ideas on what a "First in North America" coaster could be. Employees remain tight lipped on the ride type and manufacturer but keep saying it's gonna be "something big" and be a first in the USA/North America. These footers are bigger than anything found on both Wildfire and Time Traveler. And they continue to build more of them.
The weird thing is even though a lot are saying its NOT a Hyper, the closest I have found that looks similar to this is the construction of DC Rivals. The footer columns/bolt pattern, and the footer layout look almost identical. https://www.coastercrazy.com/forums/movie-park-australia-mack-coaster-t36605-25.html

For those wondering the OG Fire In The Hole structure is still with us along with the adjacent cemetery as they did announce the latter is set to be moved to the new area.
Also while this was covered last year the view walking up to the Waterfall and AP sure is different now with the trees wiped clean.
