The 10 years I've been there, never heard the term slurry. I've worked with it, and it's always been called cosmicoat, asphault sealer. What I find puzzling, 1, they didn't have these type of streets in the 1880's. They had dirt, or gravel. 2, The park first opened as such, and later added wood chips to the pathways. I've never understood the passion for something stinky that sticks to your shoes when it's hot, and is BAD for the environment. Off that box...

The heartbeat was leftover from Rube Dugans. To my knowledge, it was supposed to be the "oxygen" pump for the submarine. The same is used at the Flooded mine.

The flat roof is where the Valley Woodcarvers are, now. You're standing at the top of the stairs that go down to the backside of the restrooms. You can barely make out the underpass, the tracks would be just to the right.

Politics got involved with the topic at hand, therefore, this bypasses the obvious rule. That being said, they need to keep their noses out of the case, and let the investigators who are trained and experienced, work on it. Simple fact, mother nature is the only one at fault. Sue her.

the one you were talking about, Andrew, is one of the newest train engineers, and he still does stuff on the side at his home :)

Heritage USA has already started work on top, with the hotel, former Hub, and the campground. They take over the area below, on February 15th, not March 1st. This was to be the last weekend for volunteers to come together and celebrate Dogpatch. Thanks for sh*tty weather, mother nature!

FYI, all problems have been temperature related. Compressors have moisture in the air, below freezing has caused some to shut down (FH & FM). The gun issue is the same. While the shell may be old, the electronics are new. The colder the temps coming off the pond (22, today), the harder "wake-up" for the guns.

Sand, I fall in the confidentiality category, so I'm unable to disclose information ~or give my opinion~, until it's released by the leasers. Sound familiar, lol?

The play won't be the same without Terry Sanders' humor, or his family in the cast.  I only hope was preserving the history AT it's original location.  We'll see what happens...

The artist passed away, awhile back, and his family decided to close shop.
