But sometime little details, really mess up the big plans!!

For which reason I don't resent constructive correction  8)

Looks like we're finally going to get to go on either 9/30 or 10/1, probably the latter (as it a Thursday), but weather will play a role in the decision.  It's been almost two years!

LOL.  small detail... according to my calender 10-1 is a Friday?

OOOooops!  Yeah, I meant the FORMER.  (Reminder:  engage brain before typing.)

My dream would be spending a tenth of the money a new super-duper-fantastic ride would cost, and bring back SDC Citizens, street shows, and small live acoustic music all over the park.

Agree 100%.  SDC cannot--and should not--compete with the Disney Empire or such places.  It has its niche, and it should excel using its strengths.  Everybody has sooper-dooper thrill rides; only SDC has its charm.

Likely couple a 400lb. heifers at the very front the raft.

Was that mean? Likely, but possibly true.

You could have made the point without being insulting.  If you feel the need to insult others like this, I suggest you re-examine your motives.

We were there Friday the 14th with capacity limits still in place.   It was pretty tough getting in to see any shows.  You needed to be in line at the Opera House an hour before each show if you expected to get in.

I was wondering how they were going to distinguish vaccinated from non.  I guess that is the answer, they won't  ;)

Only an hour?  Heck, We've waited in line longer than that at OTC!   ;D

I hope they do not try to distinguish between Vacc'd and Unvacc'd folks.  The risk is on them, not me, and I would be very disheartened to hear [German Accent]Papers, Please.[/German Accent] when attempting to get into a show or restaurant.

Profoundly sorrowful.  Rick was a great friend to my family.  During the times when my wife was disabled by her hip replacements, he always stepped forward to help us out.  Whenever he had a free minute, he was eager to chat and trade stories.  We have missed him since he left, and we mourn his passing.

Branson Talk / Re: Guided Tour Concept by SDC Attractions
« on: April 14, 2021, 09:25:11 AM »
I would really like to take those tours.  I realize that most people go to Branson just to take part in the glitz, the noise, and the roller coasters, but my interests diverge into the historical and the natural.  I suspect these tours will never be a huge money-maker, but, for a modest investment, they can expand the options.  Quite a few of the visitors are older folks, and they would more likely enjoy these than yet another a Mega-Whirly-SuperSpin-Twister ride.

ON a related note, has anyone who transferred your 2020 passes to 22021 actually received the new ones yet?

Does anyone know the process?  It doesn't look like we'll make it this year.
