You had to order whatever you wanted then can add a 1/2 lb, lb, or whatever of the 2nd or 3rd meat.  I cant remember what I ordered exactly but the price came up to right at $20 for 2 meats and that included 2 slices of brisket.  Completely unacceptable for a BBQ place.

Have you seen the prices at the new BBQ place at SDC?  I almost choked.  I understand parks have to charge more but how much more?

They’re in line with what the 2 meat plate was at Ribhouse.

I do not remember the prices from the Ribhouse.  At the new incarnation the  2 meat was $20.00 Not inclucing beverage and very small sides.  I understand they have to charge a higher price but its getting out there.  Cinnamon Bread was $4.50 not so long ago now 8.00 and up for the new shop.   Thats a high dollar for a family to eat at the park.    They must however be sucessful in sales if they can keep increasing that much.  People must be impressed with what they are getting for the money. I myself go into Branson to eat.  I feel like the gap between quality of product and money spent is getting greater each year.  SDC used to do food better.  I however suspect that many really feel like they get there moneys worth.  Best $ on park in the $12 breakfast 20%? off with the pass.  That is a good deal.

Though, anything that moves is likely perceived as "too extreme" to a lot of people complaining about the lack of new family additions.

I believe you have to drop some coin for a good dark ride but they sure could use another.  Specifically because they are not adding family rides older folks want to ride and SDC was built on family.  Dollywood has kept a good mix with the additions.  New coasters that were not record breakers but had appeal and flat rides to match.  SDC seems to be trying to "break records", I dont know if that is a long lasting strategy for this park.

Sad? Sounds to me like a unforeseen issue.  I guess they could have waiting top em it till they ran this pipe but maybe they waved to get people riding and fix that later.  Some folks have to nitpick things

Sorry for the horrible errors I am literally all thumbs with this phone.  When will someone post a video of the ride?

Wonder when or if they are gonna bother with a public media event for the opening due to the social distancing restrictions from the virus. Just saw more pics posted on Facebook, including this one:

Addressing the media event I believe SDC is in turn-style danger right now.  They have been sending out FB messages  "Make your reservations today, ALL dates available....even this afternoon"  I suspect they are not getting anywhere near 6000 a day. Realistically I dont believe they can afford to delay the opening for a media day.  I am sure they will have some media event but they will open ASAP just to attract the crowds. They have lost a lot of time this year already including the delay of MR because of construction slowdowns.  Open that ride and flood Social Media with enticing adds will probably be the plan.   Just my 2 cents

Also at the Opera House was "For The Glory".  90's I think.  Good show with some memorable moments and a decent cast.

Woopie pie is a cake where the Moon pie is more a cookie.  We ate moon pies up east and in Amish communities for years.  But as stated the filling is more a shortening type filling not a frosting.  Normally chocolate with vanilla filing like an oreo.

$7.99 Cinnamon bread? 2.50 for a cookie, Wow!
Wish you would have shown the BBQ menu.  Great Video

I suspect the water causing the mask to become useless will cause a issue at WW with this new rule.  Cant breathe through wet fabric.   Same issue with the water rides at SDC.  I will watch for photos as I am in your camp.  No mask for me.

I am sure the community will step up to support the Sanders.  Terry has been a staple of
SDC and Branson for many years.
Good people,
God Bless the Sanders Family.

You have really stepped up the game on your videos.  The graphics are attractive and professional and you have become more comfortable in front of the camera.  Good job!

I love the Fire In The Hole!  I always have.  The "Thunderation Bump" thread reminded me that there is also a hard jolt in Fire In The Hole.  It is especially evident if one is riding in the last seat of the back car.  As you are going over the first hill at the burning bridge, there are two or three very violent hits to your whole body.  It has gotten worse over the past few years.

Those bumps are intentional I believe.  Its part of the bridge collapsing effect that has kinda gone down hill in recent years.  Very effective when it really thumps.  This is a cpl three bumps that have been there for years.

Ok Oh great know it all who's knowledge far surpasses all others, what improvements has WoF made in the last several years outside of a few flats that............................

Rather than actually contribute to the conversation or do something that might refute me, you just keep responding with rude, dismissive and insulting comments.  Very fitting and typical of you Swoosh.  Maybe one of these years you'll grow up and act like an adult, but I keep waiting...

There is a whole lot of truth here and I have a whole lot of respect for you for sticking up for yourself.  This has been going on way too long.  One thing I completely get is why Swoosh site has no feedback or forums.   You dont have to be a genius to know people dont like to be treated badly and spoken to like they are less than, not intelligent and their opinion does not count.  This is a friendly online community not a place where bullies should find refuge.

Much respect Sir Willow, I will indulge in your You Tube Disneyland trip tonight if its posted.  Class response!!

I went yesterday for about an hour and a half about 3PM and it was miserably crowded. I normally go on Fridays during the day as it is usually empty. I left before I yelled at someone because it was just filled with idiots... The drive from Springfield was just as bad with cars in the fast lane that had no business being in the fast lane and long lines of cars not close enough to pass in a group so I was passing a single car at a time on the right... Sadly, SDC does not sell liquor because I needed a drink by the time I got there and several more for dealing with the crowd...
