It was definitely rider error. Sad that he got hurt, but in no way souls the Sawmill be held liable
Will not stop a lawsuit though.
You guys have rode a lot more coasters and different ones than I ever will. So my question is, is it normal for a person to be able to get out of their seat and get off a coaster that is still in progress? I just figured most were designed to not be able to unlatch or unlock until the ride was over and done so by the ride operator.

Headed to Key West for the first time next week. Any suggestions?
We are planning a last minute trip to Glacier National Park.
Any tips/tricks/advice?

Music Copyright can be very much policed and there can be really big fines. I know in one of my videos I did for St. Jude - just some regular instrumental music was $1,000 for the right to use it - so we found some free music, but it just didn't have the same feel.
I owned a gym and there were fees just to play music for people hear while working out.
But probably similar to SDC, my local high school had to completely change their Show Choir performance because they couldn't get the rights to some songs. I also filmed a video for the school and we had destroy it because of contested copyright issues.
I just don't know though what constitutes infringement - some popular songs today sample so much from other popular songs - but no credit is mentioned. Just listen to the new Jonas Brother's song Leave Before You Love Me.....and Wham!'s Last Christmas. Way too similar to not give credit to the original writers.

And also Air Supply "Lost in Love"
^LOL! We were jazzed up on sugar which is a better thing than a lot of people are jazzed up on when they go to concerts I laughed out loud when the Paul McCartney portrayer was walking over to the piano to play "Let It Be" and the John Lennon guy said "Now we're going to do a song from the 1970s. Or should that be the 1870s?"
Besides, Branson tourism is still growing so quickly anyway...
I find this part of your statement amusing. After just spending a week in Branson and seeing all the shuttered theatres, hotels, motels, and other amusement-type places, I assume you must mean it's on the rebound from the recent downturn. I would have loved to been there when it was at it's peak, I assume 10-15 years ago.
The crappy hotels are always going out of business, and the small time theatres have struggled to stay relevant with all the competition. The actual numbers show that Branson is still growing, but the bigger, better hotels and attractions are taking that growth, not the half-assed places. People have slightly higher standards than they did in the old days and quite frankly many Branson business owners have been super lazy. People think they can semi-retire here and slap down some half-baked business idea and it will work because Branson. Still, there are plenty of days when it's tough to find a hotel room!
As for DW resorts 3 and 4, I could have heard wrong, but I thought it sounded like one of the resorts would be outdoors oriented (ie: a glorified campground/cabin rental resort). Not sure what the other would be, how many resorts do they really need at this point?
This news also makes me wonder how long it will be until they have year-round operations. Also, how long until Breeze goes from TUL to Knoxville?
As for US 412. At the very least continue to Harrison/US 65.
In an ideal world, US 412 would be upgraded all the way to Walnut Ridge, share some of I-57 to the South and Extend I-555 south of Jonesboro to AR 226 and upgrade AR 226 to standard. All would be an extension of I-22 from Memphis.
Missouri would like I-22 routed to West Plains and US 60 from Walnut Ridge using US 63 as a template. Then US 60 to Springfield and on the KC via MO 13. Nyet! That needs tto be an extention of I-155 from Dyersburg and conversion to a two digit interstate via Hayti toKennett on US 412 and Kennett to Popular Bluff via US 49 between Rector and Piggott and then US 60 to Springfield.(or just share I-55 to Sikeston and then US 60).
Breeze( New airline by the founder of JetBlue) has blown in to XNA(even Tulsa too)
New flights to New Orleans/Tampa/San Antonio to start.
40 buck one way fares to be had right now.
Interesting that they are at XNA, but I guess that makes sense since they want to focus on smaller cities/less served routes. I am looking at that Tampa to Tulsa route for this summer, maybe hit up BGW!

Turning 412 into an interstate would be huge! Obviously this is 10 or more years out since ARDOT has so many other big projects they haven't even broken ground on, but it's encouraging. I just want that Springdale bypass!
What's going on in NWA?
Razorbacks kicking butt in baseball and softball!
