A two meat two side BBQ plate with drink would be about $15 at our local establishments so $20 in a theme park does not seem out of line.  That said we have typically loaded up on breakfest and avoided other full meal options in the park and had a nice meal out of the park for dinner.

Went to DW once about ten years ago.  At the time more show offerings but even the original SDC Tennessee section seemed lacking from a crafts standpoint.  Probably won't go back because 12 hour  drive versus 8 to SDC.

It's been about three years since I've been to the park but from the discussion it seems the traffic is getting worse. Is the traffic already backed up if you head out there by 8:30 or is this a later in the morning thing?  Any better to come in from the south?  I'm in agreement that the park growth will stall if the parking and traffic isn't addressed.

I provided link above to latest satellite view of site.  l think if you took in the employee lot and all available space you might could squeeze in coaster behind Fireman's Landing.  Other than that things are getting boxed in accept for out along train run.

It is families with lots of kids that don't have season passes and buy lots of food that keep the park open.  SDC would be bankrupt in a year if all it had to depend on was season pass holders that spend very little in the park.
