I'm here as well!!  I'm on  three or four times a week. Don't post much, but read A LOT!   ;)

If they placed webcams throughout the city, yeah...they would be watched.  I could imagine one in GM behind the mirror!  Would be fun just to check it out from time to time.  Town square, cardiac hill, somewhere along the train path... it would be a hot item on their website.

Would be cool if they offered them as webcams so you could watch online.

I agree Shave.  They used to have some pretty good concerts there as well.  Can't find one scheduled for this year!

General Silver Dollar City Talk / 2023 Season Pass
November 28, 2022, 01:09:39 PM
Since I haven't purchased season tickets in a couple of years this has really been a new experience!  Now that you you have to print your own tickets, do they allow you to laminate them?  Or do you have to print a new one each time you visit?

Headed to Key West for the first time next week.  Any suggestions?

Are they still limiting attendance numbers each day?

General Silver Dollar City Talk / Fall numbers

Planning on a visit this weekend.  Is SDC still limiting the amount of guests in the park?  I know they quit the reservation requirements for season pass holders, but I never heard if they are still limiting numbers.  I know it will probably be busy since Oklahoma is on fall break this weekend, but as an educator, this is the only time I can get off at this time of year....so I just have to put up with it.

13 & 14 already full.  Don't know if the reservation side is down or not, but I keep getting "no available dates" for the entire season!  Also, it is showing the validity for season passes to be from 01/19/2020 to 06/15/2021.

It was nuts Saturday night!  It wasn't too bad around the park up until around 4pm, then it was shoulder-to-shoulder.  We walked in a little after 11am and like I said, it wasn't too bad.  We waited a little under an hour to ride TT, however after the 7pm parade, the line for the Train stretched to Cowboy Jepp's!

That is a cool picture!

I loved to stand at the knife maker and watch Ray hammer out a blade.  Gone WAY too soon.

I want a good theme park, not just another coaster park.  While signs and creative names help, it is the well-done dark rides, simulators, and shows (in theme - no deviation) worth seeing (not stunts ordered from a catalog of "entertainers") that can really push the unique theme of a park and set it apart from the rest.  Any theme will do, as long as it is consistent.

I've been saying that for quite a while now.  We can't afford to lose another classic.  Speaking of classic, how long was the diving bell in operation anyway?  Now that was a cool ride and cutting edge for it's time.  Imagine what it could be like today!
