hi all, sorry its been so long since i have been on and posted but the last 6 months have been so busy for me and my family. now i finally have a little time. i feel like a new member again. we are trying to put a trip together in the next couple weeks. it feels good to have the time to get back on the site!!

Ok folk's its time i post what has been going on the last couple of month's in my life. first the wife and i became grandparents on 12/11/11 little boy named sawyer. what a bundle of joy!! anyway since then we have decided too put our house up for sale, we want too down size and too be honest my taxes are going through the roof. in illinois we pay a tax yearly instead of a personal property tax that missouri has. anyway my taxes has slowly creeped up over 4,200$ over the last 10 years when we bought the house 10 years ago my taxes were only 2,000$ and yes we have protested them several times. too only have them go right back up the following year. so we have decided too take what ever money we make on the sale of our house, and buy some property and slowly build, the wife wants a log cabin.

hey all i know this has nothing too do with branson or sdc but, i just bought the wife and i tickets too go see bob segar at Scott trade center here in st.Louis, on December 9th it also happens too be our wedding anniversary she don't know about them yet. I'm excited about it and just had too tell someone, so i thought why not tell everyone on the best forum there is with all my friends here. sdcfans are the best.

hey all out there in sdcfans land, I know someone will remember this maybe junior will know. OK first on route 76 just west of branson, between hwy 265 and branson there was an old store right off the hwy 76, it was in the 70s or early 80s when i remember stopping there, i can remember buying an old corncob pipe, lol i was just a kid 10 or 11 maybe anyway does anyone remember that place if so can you tell me the name?

OK on hwy 76 at the henning conservation area. if your heading west on76 the left side down in the hollow there stood an old cabin and it seemed like everytime we would drive by there was smoke coming from the chimney. so i was wondering if anyone had seen this cabin and knows what it is or was, last time we were there it looked like it had fallen in on itself.

hello all i have a question,for all my friends here on this site. my wife and i will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary this December, we thought about a weekend at sdc and was wondering if any rides are open this time of year and what else there is to do in the winter?

hello all, i have always wondered what sdc does with the picture they take of you just before the tour starts. i would like too see some old photo's when i was a kid. has anyone else wondered that? i know they would use the photo if for some reason you would get lost in the cave they would have a resent picture of you.

Hey all out there, does anyone remember the water slide acrossed the street from sdc campground? If so do you have any pictures? I have alot of fond memories of that place. We always camped at Compton ridge campground. I remember being in live with the life guard there at the bottom 1985 or 1986. She was about 17 I think. I would love to talk or see some photos of that place.
