My wife and I were driving by there on the way back from SDC last weekend, and noticed they had a WiFi AP set up. Kinda surprised me - even I'm not quite that attached to technology... yet.

Branson Talk / Re: Bed and Breakfasts

Don't know if it is still used as a b&b, but the old Branson Hotel in downtown Branson at the downtown stop light on Hwy 76 across from the Empire Electric Office once rented out 8 rooms and provided a breakfast. It is the oldest hotel in Branson, and Harold Bell Wright of Shepherd of the Hills fame stayed there, as well as other famous people, including a Missouri Governor. I've been in the building a few times over the years, and last time I was in there was not long after a complete restoration. Each room has it's own bathroom, and the public areas are restored nicely. Period furniture in the lounge area and dining area.
Good to know! I'll drop by the next time I'm up there - I love old places like that, it's exactly the kind of thing I want to be able to share with people. There is so much more to Branson than the bright lights and the Strip.

I drove up there this morning, and it looked like everything was well under control.
I also took some close-up photos, which may be seen on my blog: Showboat Branson Belle Photos
