I have been going to Little Rock for years for work, and all over Ark in general and how I have I never heard of this park before?

If you drive from LR to Hot Springs, you drive right past the park.

They are going to get their "Gaslight Square" after all.

It was such a big hit the first time, right? 

I live about 40 miles from Magic Springs and haven't been there since 1981.  It just doesn't appeal to me.  My wife and I were talking about it and we figured most of the time people go there are for the concerts- and those are usually like Steppenwolf's grandsons or some other variation of an oldie band. 

I'm originally from about 90 minutes west of Hot Springs. The only time I went to Magic Springs was about 1994, when it was a great place for a 3 year old's first amusement park adventure.

I never understood it as a concert venue. Lake Hamilton Steppin' Wolves band might be behind the Steppenwolf grandsons theme. LOL

Weird how they deleted your other reply - it's a valid question to ask. Dangling a carrot in-front of those wanting to know just makes it seem like it's for an ego-boost.

It was my reply that got deleted. It's not the first time, but I don't hold it against shave at all. I understand he tries to keep things non-personal...and we have some strong personalities here.

Sounds like what they really need is an extreme coaster flat ride that can accommodate the whole family including infants and great-grandparents while staying totally in theme like Miss Mary's Day.

Oh, and make it a dark ride mountain coaster water plunge theme just to cover all bases.

I still miss Big Jacks sandwich shop.  Those Muffuletta sandwiches were fantastic.

This is perfect to place where the old Fire in the Hole is. You can use the existing structure. It would give the park another weather resistant ride which can work in all conditions. The movie could be a "Soar over the Ozarks", with a Old Time Christmas replacement of "Rudolph the Red nose reindeer Flight. "

How about it being a diving bell going under Lake Silver? 

A guy I know who owns a car dealership in Vinita is somehow involved in all this I believe, not sure how.  But he insisted a year ago or so that it was going to happen.  Yea right.

You can always trust a car dealer to tell you the honest truth, right?

I'll be messing around with the look of the forums on Friday most likely. I tried messing with it some tonight, but this current theme is a bit more complex than I am used to and I am out of practice. This theme actually generates style sheets on the fly rather than using a fixed css file, so that's kind of a pain.

I will eventually make this place look "rustic" again. You know we love our theming around here, lol.

I thnk that once you explained why you didn't want a "like" button on the old forum.

I don't recall the reason, but it's a feature I'd like to see. It lets users acknowledge that their question was answered, without hitting the quote button and typing out a reply.

It took me a couple of visits to figure out that the star would show me all unread posts since last visit (the way I prefer to view all forums).

I know Shave will be updating the look and feel after making everything function correctly. So far, I'm not having any trouble at all.

Enlighten me please.

On forums, I like to see a list of all new posts since my last visit. That way I don't have to dig through the different categories.

With the new software, that's done by just clicking the star just under the Home/Search/Visitors bar. I attached a screenshot.

I started to write a long explainer about J1 visa holders, and how well they work in the hospitality and tourism industry.

I realized it was way too complicated, so let's just say that it's a good match for a resort. There will be many foreign applicants who actually have to pay a lot of money for the visa.
