Construction/Rumors / Re: Project 2027 Tracker

I agree with the launch part with them bringing out the canon and actively using the word launch at fanfest.

I don't see them removing TNT though. It's running great and can still eat up crowds on busy days. And the operators I talked to said it's not going anywhere. I know that means nothing though.

I hope it's all thrill and not intermediate.

What is the rebar sticking up from the footers? Is that where more concrete is going or where the support will attach to the footer? And why is the rebar on the first footer in a square pattern but the rest round? Could that be a clue to manufacturer?

I'm 99% sure it's going to be a launched coaster especially after bringing out that cannon and talking about launching at fanfest. So the Stryker model seems to be a top candidate!

So it's going to be launched. And have a cannon theme? Or be themed to Mrs. Tilley the daredevil?

Clearly I'm using the wrong kind of butter if you're using that to describe TNT.  I was there in August and it has never been rougher, especially the helix.
It was a little bumpy in the helix  tunnel admittedly, but everything before and after was super smooth. There was no shaking, jolting, or jarring after the tunnel up to the lift hill.

I don't think it will be a 2027 project if they are having an announcement even this year. That would potentially push people to skip 2026 and just wait until 2027 to come when the ride opens.

Don't all the water rides close every year at Labor Day? Or is subjective to the weather now?

Other Parks / Re: Six flags passes

We are already gold members. Six flags STL is 20 mins away from us. We have 8 passes and to add the all park passport would cost $125 per pass. After the sale started I went to guest services and asked about the new all park MVP sale and she said we already had the all park passport added to all our passes because too many people called in to corporate to complain.

All 3 of those names suck but I would choose daredevil railway. Fits in with the daredevil narrative of AP. I could see them re-theming and restoring AP. It certainly needs it.

I'm betting nothing or a vague more things coming soon for this project.

Probably will be mostly about the resort and season passes for next year, maybe a new show.
I actually agree with this. That announcement is pretty underwhelming. Usually they hype up their new rides but this fanfest has blah written all over it. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

I would doubt TNT goes anywhere soon. One train suits it just fine and the ride is the smoothest it's been since it was new. One of the best mine trains in the world.

Man the lack of news is bumming me out. Dollywoods new ride is getting a teaser campaign and all sorts of new interesting pictures. I know the construction there is more exposed than SDC, but still. SDC isn't even trolling at this point. Everything is sealed shut right now.  :-X  *Sigh* I'm just an impatient person...

General Silver Dollar City Talk / SDC Nanocoasters
July 25, 2025, 09:49:28 PM
I have started connecting Nanocoasters and saw at one point there were outlaw run and wildfire ones. Apparently they were only sold for one season though. Anyone know where I could get them new or used?
