Wow that is great.  I never got to ride BSF.  I am thinking I am spotting the parts that still exist that are the current PK.  I like PK but too bad they couldn't keep this one going as well.

I really don't know why instead of getting rid of it they don't just retrack it.  Seems like that would be cheaper, at least from my non-expert opinion.  It would be nice if they would add additional rides to suck up the crowds instead of everything simply being a replacement of an existing classic.

I do not recall ever seeing a test seat.

Branson Talk / Re: Where is everyone staying?

We used to stay at Angel Inn Central, the one behind walmart.  Last time we found roaches in the room as we were getting ready to leave, and one hitched a ride home.  We decided to give them one more chance a couple of weeks ago.  Tried 2 different rooms and checked for roaches before brining in our stuff.  Both were infested with them.  Its a shame as we have stayed there many times over the years.  Never again.  We ended up across the street at Grand Oaks.  It was fine.  Would stay there again but looking for another good cheap place, preferably with a hot tub.

What I can say was were got there at opening this past Sunday.  It did not start out super crowded but the lines were long for rides.  By the time we left at 5:30 it was shoulder to shoulder, really really bad.

Yes it seems like it will be really congested.  If they want to expand it seems like they need to expand the footprint of the part to spread the crowd out.  But, I am sure they are the experts.

Well we ended up going.  I think we got there around 5 or so and started off eating a the Mill.  Walked around and looked at lights, watched the parade, rode FITH since it was the only thing open besides FM I think, did not ride the train.  Left around 8. We were going to go back Monday and look at more lights and ride the train, but instead went to that magic show at the Cabaret as we decided it was too cold.  Had we gone it would have been lightly snowing.  Kind of sorry I missed that.

Thinking about hopping in the car and heading up to the visit the city today/tomorrow.  Being Sunday and Monday I figured the Christmas crowds would be lighter.  Now with the temps in the 30's and possible snow on Monday, I figured just about all rides will be closed, further reducing crowds.  Perhaps it might be a good couple of days to bundle up and look at the lights, ride the train etc?

I REALLY wish they would have either repaired LR or did an on par replacement instead of what they came up with.  I do not like the boats, or the ride, and really have no use for the stupid lift/drop thing at the end.

I would love to try out TNT but now days my neck and back are so stiff I am afraid to try it. It is one of my favorite rides there.

I wonder if the low turnout for the regular nightly show had anything to do with the people not liking the remodel?

Does anyone know why they did away with the nightly shows?  Just was never the same after they did the remodel.

None of this is any surprise.
