New Thread for the New year
K.D. and Linda, say thanks for a great 2015, and are looking forward to 2016.. I am actually still waiting for the numbers from last year, will post them as soon as I receive them.
Our SDCFans discounted rate will continue to be 40.00 per room per night + tax for this year, with the exception of Car Show week/weekend. Make sure you tell them you are from this group when making your reservations..

We will be in town this weekend, bringing in 4 couple with us.. LOL.. I call K.D. and rented the "west wing"...
The winter rate is still in effect until April 1st, only 35.oo per night..... then rate will go back up to 40.00 for the rest of the year...

Talked to Katy (K.D.) this weekend, With great concern she wanted to discuss room rates with me. They want to raise our room rates to 40.00 per night this year. We all know the story, increased taxes, wages, overhead and other costs. I told her that would not be a problem, we appreciate everything have done for us in the past, and am confident that the minimal extra cost would be easily accepted by the group.
I changed previous posts to reflect new rate. Wanted to make sure everyone understood the reason for the small "change".... LOL... get it? small "change"?.. OH! never mind.!

Called to try to get rooms for a last minute overnight Saturday. She only had one room left and we needed two. We will try another weekend when the kids get back from seeing their grandparents in Wisconsin.

We were at Classic for another great stay on June 23rd and 24th. It is staying busy this year because there was no vacancy for that Friday night. Overall Branson seems to be having a busy summer because we saw several "no vacancy" signs around town on Friday night.

We booked our room about a month ago. And although she could not honor the 40 dollar rate due to the holiday weekend she did split the rate between the regular rate and the sdcfan rate.we are currently here. I am totally sold on this place. Thanks for the tip y'all

Second if you are getting a hotel based on the TV you should just stay home and watch home hunters on your BIG TV! Also if you have a problem with the dogs do all of us a favor and stay home with the dog you think is sooooooo much smarter than all of us. And lastly don't post a ridiculous rant and then delete it. If you have an issue with this please PM me I would like to discuss this further

You are a joke dude, a thankless joker. Somebody offers a group you are a member of a nice discount and you trash them in a public forum on the very group they are giving a discount too? WOW!
Please don't let any of us disway you from staying at the other hotel you are so fond of. I would rather you there then in the room next too me. My dog might disturb you. The folks at the classic have always gone above and beyond for this group and we don't need someone publicly lambasting them as a sign of appreciation. You sir thankfully do not represent the thoughts nor good sense of this group.

We have stayed at Classic Motor Inn many times great that they offer discount, been to Homestead awhile back wasn't thrilled with it but not horrible by any means. Becoming rather fond of Lodge at the Falls and both Angel Inn locations but as soon as summer peak prices hit we will be at Classic! Since we have large family we always get two rooms which requires us to be as thrifty as possible so exclusive discounts are awesome.

WP was just giving a review of his stay. Businesses need to hear the good and negative reviews to get better. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. It's not like he went up to the front desk and just started yelling at them telling them everything they are doing wrong. It's great that the Classic gives this sites' members a discount, but not everyone is going to like every hotel, no matter how nice it is.

Just wanted to say how much fun it was meeting some of y'all over the 4Th weekend. Sanddunerider thanks for the killer fireworks show! we only have great things to say about the weekend. It was great to put some faces to the posts. looking forward to next year

We stayed 2 weekends ago. Because we booked the last 2 rooms, we paid $54.95 instead. We called today to book two rooms for Saturday. Again...$54.95. And we did not get the last two rooms this time. Has anyone else had an issue getting our rate?

I specifically asked for the sdc fans rate. She said she could only give me 54.95. The person who answered the phone didn't give a name so I'm not sure who it was. Thank you for checking! We appreciate it very much!

Talked to K.D.. Our rates have NOT changed and the days have NOT changed,. Our prices a good everyday EXCEPT Car Show Week.
Big misunderstandings, and miscommunication were/are involved. K.D. sends you sincere regrets and apologies.. All of the office people have been reminded and informed and reinformed of the SDC discount rate...
IF for any reason, there is a question about our 40.00 rate when you check in or out... Make sure you talk to KD..... I would suggest you verify the rate when you check in, or during your stay... JUST to eliminate any questions when you are checking out and headed home!!!...

We were also there last week and were not able to get the SDC Fan rate, even though I asked. We stayed anyway and it was a good stay as always, but was a little disappointed, fortunately we only stayed 2 days, but being on a tight budget it would have helped. Hopefully next time, we can get the rate, because we do like it there.
Even recommended it to my parents who stayed there back in June for the first time and they enjoyed their stay too.

IF there is any doubt about your rate, Just ask for KD.. But I am pretty sure this situation has been fixed..
Thanks for giving Classic a try, and returning and for sending your parents... It all of this repeat business that will help us keep the lower rate in the future...

So, I'm finally getting to come back to Branson after three long years, and this time I'll be bringing family. It'll be me, my sister, my bro-in-law, my nieces (ages 1, 3, 8), and my dad. What kind of room sizes are available? What is the SDCFans price (I've forgotten)? We'll be arriving Thursday Sept 22nd and checking out Sunday the 25th.

Basic Motel room size, furninshed with single king or 2 queen size beds, each room has a small table and 2 chairs, as well as fridge and micro.,, there are some adjoining rooms (that may work for your group)/ Our rate is 40.00 per night per room + tax.
Just call K.D., and let her know what you need... she will take care of you

Really, I am going to say something you may not like. A place should not shill for reviews. Some of us use trip advisor and trust it to be fair and reflect what a property really is. And that means not making up fake reviews just to get a place higher on a list. Sorry, but even if you love a place you should only be allowed 1 review of it. making 5 or ten reviews a year only tarnishes the system. Sham on those who do this because the rest of us get screwed in the process.

I dont think i asked anyone to lie on a review. Many of us stay there as you know, IF you have stayed here and dont mind leaving a review then they should do so. And i for sure didnt suggest anyone make a "fake" review..
You can only leave 4 reviews per year. (not or 5 or 10 per year). They prefer that you have stayed there after every review. tripadvisor allows one every 3 months... NOT my rules, there rules.

Dont know how you figure your getting "screwed"? When i use trip advisor i go back several pages and look at several reviews "not" just the current rating.
Dont like their rules/system? Shame on them.! Dont blame me or us for following their rules.

I feel like he pretty clearly wrote "Hey everyone that has stayed at Classic", so I'm not sure where you're getting the fake review idea from. Some of us need to be reminded to write our first review. They have treated our members really well over the past several years, so it makes sense for us to give back by taking two seconds to give a good review for our last visits. And of course you can write multiple reviews if you stay there multiple times over the year, that's what a lot of people do. Having recent reviews is all part of the system.
Also, I hate to break it to you, but all review sites are a joke. The aggregate is usually a semi-decent indication of how good a place is, but it's never completely trustworthy. Most reviews for any given place are fake or done by crazy people. The only time I ever act on a review site ranking is when a place has like one star after a hundred reviews or something.

Another good stay at Classic! Room was ready early, it was clean, & everyone was nice. Took a shower after getting rained on at SDC & the water stayed HOT! Good job ya all, Thank You!!

Just a reminder, dont forget if you are planning on a winter trip to town, Classic is open all year around. With so many of the hotels closed dec-jan-feb-march, Its nice to know we have someplace to stay.

In case you missed the post the other day, Classic has started their winter nightly rate, It si only 35.00 per night. I would expect this rate to be good until mid-march.

Hey Sand, is it just the lack of leaves or is there something going on behind the CMI. I could see what looked like a new parking lot through the trees. Was that always there or are they building more cabins?

Classic MI (Initials) Behind the hotel where the brown cabins are back there. Between those cabins and the resort ( and woodline) is a parking lot and land clearing it looks. Its not right behind the hotel its a little bit back, there is still woods. BTW, is that your beer drinkin, weinee roasting spot on the side of the hotel there? It looked like something that you may have started.

LOL. Gotcha MH..! yes, i didnt look back there this weeked, but all last year they were busting rock and laying underground and build street.. I am sure there will be more cabins/condos for westwood there...
Yes that is one of our spots to relax, LOL actually it is my firepit, when we party we put it in the middle of the parking lot down by the little building out back, so we can all sit around it... one of the maintenece guys made that little spot for himself. he uses it more than i do.. LOL
