Title: Replacing season pass
Post by: Citydweller84 on December 08, 2015, 12:31:06 PM
Does anyone know the policy SDC has on replacing a lost season pass? A friend of mine that's coming down in a couple weeks had her purse and wallet stolen, and she had her pass in it as well. Just curious to see if it can be replaced at all. Thanks in advance.

Just take current ID and go to the customer relations building, they will replace it for you

First time replacement is free (and apparently that applies to BAFs, too).  After that, there is a nominal charge.  Both SPs and BAFs can be replaced.

Leave early! Guest Relations is as slow as molasses.

My 2016 season pass says there is a $10 fee if lost. It doesn't say that the first replacement is complimentary.

I took that information directly from the information included with the 2016 passes.  I don't have it with me, but the back of the 2015 passes say "may be a fee".  I'll check to see if I misread something.

I checked and it does say the first replacement is free.  After that, they will charge $10 per transaction.

For BAFs, the first replacement is free, and every transaction after that is $5.

You can go to any of the ticket windows too - everyone says guest relations and that is why everyone waits so long.  They are supposed to be there for the big issues like tickets being purchased at a resort and forgotten or I had a terrible experience at the buffet. Now that tickets is a single line - you don't get stuck behind the lady with a coupon from 1984 and arguing with them when they say it's no longer valid. lol
