RIP, Mr. Spock...I also liked the 1970s serie he did voiceovers on that featured odd and unusual myterious pieces, it was called IN SEARCH OF.
-
He was one of my favorite people, not just as an actor. I was in tears when I heard!
-
It just doesn't seem logical Captain......RIP Spock and thanks.

Bummer.. :(

I just heard on the news that Lucille Ball actually produced the first Star Trek series. It was nearly cancelled, so she pushed hard for a second season. Interesting tidbit! Was Spock in the first season of Star Trek?
-
He was the only one from the first pilot episode that was rejected by nbc and later became The Cage episode.

That is partially true. Her production company (Desilu) produced the first two seasons before it was sold to Paramount. It was cancelled at the end of the second season but it was revived by a massive letter writing campaign by fans.
As for the The Cage, that is correct. I think what you were meaning to say though was he was the only one in every episode (including the pilot) of TOS.

Mr. Nimoy was also the director of "Three Men and a Baby"

That's right. I knew he directed ST III and IV, but I had forgotten he did some other films outside of the franchise. And was pretty good I thought.
