Free parking is still abundant at SDC, but if you're the type that wants premium parking, be prepared to shell out a lot more. Prices for premium parking have been hiked several times this year, all the way up to $15. This is still a good $10 less than most parks charge for premium parking though, and free parking is still easily usable. As far as I can tell, there's actually no real advantage to paying the $15 for a spot slightly closer to the park, but I guess suckers keep paying for it, so the park is just capitalizing on it during the economic downer that has been this year.

^Seriously, what is the point of premium parking? Just park in the normal lot and they'll give you a tram ride to the park! I don't understand people sometimes. But I guess if they've got the money...
-
^I second your point of view. Plus, it's not that bad of a walk on a nice day from the tram turnaround to the front gates.
-
Have to pay for the new lots somehow ;D
-
I always thought the tram was the first ride of the day. ;D

I wholeheartedly agree. Anyone else hope they keep the green trams until the last bolt falls off?
-
^Of course! I haven't gotten to ride on a green tram in a long time though. :(

Maybe they'll auction the green trams and we can each get one to tool around the neighborhood.
BTW, does anyone else cringe when they say "All ashore"? Haven't we been on "shore" the whole time? When do the trams actually go out to sea? ;)
And how exactly do you watch your head? My eyes got stuck when I tried to do that? ::) :o
