Headed down for the weekend...Staying at Classic again.. I will get with Katy and verify rates and "blackout" times....(which I think is car show weekend only)....
Don't forget she has...
.ur Rate is 38.00 per night (IF rooms are available) (Exclusion of Car show weekend)
WIFI-
(IF you need "strong" WIFI, make sure you request rooms up front, the pool side rooms are nice and convienient, but WIFI is weak)
They also have Both Pillow Top Mattresses and standard.....
Nice Outdoor pool.
Poolside rooms
Adjoining rooms are available also
Queen and Kings size beds
Pet rooms
Smoking rooms
Nice breakfast, B & G, French toast, waffles, bagles, cereal, and more stuff.
Fridge in almost all room, just ask if you need one....
Micro and coffee pots available, check with Katy when you check in,she will get you taken care of.
If you need something/anything, just ask Katy,,,,,,
And if you need show tickets, Call All Access Branson @ 417-332-2121, they will deiliver your tickets to motel for no charge,,,,,,

Sanddune.....we'll probably come down the 1st or 2nd week in Nov too,if all works out. Maybe see you then. We have a room on the 1st floor, didn't ask where it's situated. Did get the SDC fans rate. :D

To continue, from the other thread, our room was extremely quiet. In fact we hardly heard a thing from the outside. The place was clean, inside and out, and everyone was very nice. I believe the breakfast pianist only plays, Thursday through Saturday. I think he may also be the manager. The breakfast room is nice, with plenty of room, and breakfast included toaster waffles, pancakes, cereal, muffins, bagels, toast, small donuts, and biscuits and gravy. The pool was very clean and appealing, as well. When we left, this morning, there were only two rooms remaining for the weekend, and they said those would be filled soon. It's nice to see a hotel fill up in Branson these days. Remember when all the hotels on the strip all said No Vacancy and it was hard to find a place to stay?

We need a 'Pet friendly' room for this weekend (sat & sun night). Talked to Classic and they don't have any left. Will Econo still honor our 'fan discount' of $40?? I'm assuming no, but just thought I would check.

Dollar, I don't know.. Just have to call and ask. My understanding is that Cherie is no longer there, along with most of the "original" crew.. So with an all new crew you will just have to Call and ask.. That all I know to suggest..
Too bad about Classic being out of pet rooms./..

Had another GREAT stay!
Don't forget when you get done at the end of the day...... They make fresh popcorn and fresh choc chip cookies every evening for the guests..................
Dollar?? how did u do at Econo....
ALSO I deal a lot with All Access Branson for show tickets, I talked to them.. If we get in a bind like Dollar did, (Michelle) told me to call her and she might be able to get special rates at other motel for pet/smoking rooms... just a thought.....

We ended up staying home for the extended weekend. There were several things on our list for the nursery that we still needed to buy. (can't pass up those labor day savings! haha)
It might be next year (with baby in tote) that we make it back to the park.

just got back home from a unscheduled trip... had another great stay at Classic,,
got to see cheeseheads! nice surprise.. they are staying for 2 weeks!
And sunday night we were able to snag some of those fresh baked choco chip cookies!!!

Unscheduled trip this weekend... No SDC this time. Too expensive w/o a season pass. Just passing through. Headed to Eureka Springs tomorrow and stopping by Branson on Sunday and possibly Monday to check some things out in Springfield before heading back to OKC on Tuesday

We have friends staying at our condo because they couldn't find a last minute room this weekend. I can't remember when it's been that busy. That's a good thing!

We were at Classic Saturday and Sunday nights. Was surprised we got a room because we didn't call until Thursday afternoon. Branson was definitely busy for Columbus Day weekend. Saw the no vacancy sign at Classic for Saturday night but did notice that other motels on SOH did have vacancies including Whispering Hills next door to Classic.
Traffic on the strip Sunday evening was really heavy. Took us quite sometime to make a right turn to get out of the Lost in the 50s Mini Golf parking lot (also the lot for Cakes and Creams and Pancho Villa). We kept driving west toward SOH and noticed that traffic was backed up past the Duttons Theater.

I called Thursday when we verified the other half could get off work early.,they were sold out Friday and almost sat already....
Katy had to do some juggling , bit was able to get a room for Saturday..
She sure is doing a good job for us...

We are going to be at Classic from Nov 12-17. Katy had to do some juggling to get us a room up front like we had in Sept. She is a miracle worker as they had busses coming for that time. Anybody going to be there then?

Classic Motor Inn was great! Katy was cool! Saw the 2 lil' doggies that run the place. Rooms were fine, 1 bed had softer pillows & the other had harder pillows, cool.. Katy put us in the "Witness Protection Program" room.... 8) #106, they call it that because it has no number on the door. Got my discount for being a member of this forum. :)
Thanks Again Everyone!! May have only been 1 night, but it was great, i actually sleep ALL night without waking up.

Another great weekend Classic.! Katy and Linda are have an indoor garage sale this week. they have all sorts of neat stuff. proceeds go to a local charity..
They were sold out Friday night, but sat I would guess about 1/2 full..
traffic was down a little this weekend, But it will pick up next week!.. OTC!!

We are heading to Branson this Saturday and will spend one night at the Classic before meeting up with the rest of the family. I was able to get the discount for Saturday night, but they were out of rooms with the softer mattresses :-[. We have been to Branson many times, but this is our first time at the Classic. Thanks so much for the info! Can't wait to get there!

Have a good visit, With the prediction of bad weather, Classic may have cancellations.. So when you check in, make sure you ask them about that..
It might not hurt to call Friday evening or early sat morning, just to check ::)

We had a wonderful stay last night. I took your advice and asked again about the availability of pillow-top mattresses and they were able to accommodate my request. However, both beds were comfortable and we would have been OK even without the change. Our room was very clean and we all slept well. They even provided a nice sleeping mat for our 4 year old since they don't have rollaway beds. We enojoyed chatting with everyone last night over cookies and popcorn and again this morning at breakfast. I am so appreciative of the recommendations on this board and we will definitely visit the Classic again. Looking forward to another wonderful week in Branson- Happy Thanksgiving to all!
