I have finally opened my business: Maudi Mae :)
It is handmade hair accessories and shoes clips; basic accessories you'd see ladies wear in Apostolic churches.
If I ever get the chance to finish some of my crocheted blankets, they will be for sale.
Scarves will start being sold around the end of October.
There is an eBay store as well as an Etsy store. There is more stuff on the Etsy site due to selling limits on eBay.

how much for a scarf? I need one for my kiddo and can you make it custom?
-
Best wishes on your new venture, Tiff!

The scarves will probably be between $5 and $10 depending on size and complexity. And yeah, I can do custom.

And thank you Junior!!

I listed a ton of more stuff on Etsy:

I got an offer from Branson Mills Craft Village to sell some stuff there. I have a meeting tomorrow at 2:30, which means an emergency trip to Branson (darn... ;))
Wish me luck!!
-
Good luck!! ;D
-
That's great, Tiffany! I hope it all works out for you.
-
I got the job! You can now find some of my work at Branson Mill Craft Village starting November 1!
And sometimes when they have special showing days, I might be there demonstrating.
-
Wow! Congratulations! :)

Good luck on your venture into the business world, Tiff!
But...$5 or $10 seems awfully cheap for handmade scarfs. Don't sell yourself short. I don't know how you make them or how long it takes to make one, but, and this is just my opinion, you ought to figure on making $15-$20 an hour for your time, maybe more.
On the other hand, you know what you want to do, so go for it!

I was thinking about it because I'm getting ready to list some scarves and I did figure $15 is probably what they will be going for.

This is my favorite thing I've made so far :)

Just wondering Tiff...are you still doing this work? Haven't heard much about it lately. Just wondering!
-
I still am! Not much new stuff, but I'm still taking orders on the customizable stuff!!

Thank you!

Big things in store for the shop in 2014!
I'm going to be releasing a cancer awareness line with a percentage of the money going to cancer research.
This is inspired by my pastor's wife who very recently found out she has Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer. She's like a second mom to me, so this upcoming year, you will be seeing a LOT of new things that hopefully sell very well. If anyone has dealt with cancer themselves or someone they love has, then you know how important research is to kick cancer's butt.
Like my shop's Facebook page to stay updated on new items being added by the end of February '14!

I made coffee sleeves, and 10% of the profit goes to Cancer Research!!
(If you don't have an Etsy account, you can PM me and order that way!!)
