Who are we pullin' for in the NFL playoffs??
My first team is always the KC Chiefs and, coincidentally, my number two is the Baltimore Ravens. Needless to say that my heart dropped when I saw the final seedings and matchups announced! So...I pull for my Chiefs, but if that doesnt work out, I still have interest in the playoffs!
Jamaal Charles running on Ray Lewis! Should be a doozy!
Anyone else have interests????
-
GO Chiefs!!
-
" silence " :o :o I plead the fifth! :-X :-X I would hate for this forum to go BALLISTIC!!! ::) ::) ;D ;D
-
Da Bears!
-
Well, if you saw the "Razorbacks" thread I started, and know the outcome of the Sugar Bowl, you can understand why I'm down in the dumps. The Razorback quarterback Ryan Mallett is defecting on his team and making the jump to the pros. But, since the loss a few days ago, he won't be at the top of the draft picks...he's dropped considerably. Overall feeling here in NW Arkansas is he's making the jump to earn some good money and does not want an upcoming year in college that could lead to an injury. :P

I'd like to see the Packers get rid of Michael "Dog Killer" Vick and the Eagles!
Saints and Seahawks. Don't care.
Jets and Colts. Hmmm...Peyton's the Man! But I kinda think I'd like to see the Jets maybe pull one out. If not, I'd love to see the Colts go to New England and beat the Patriots the second time around!
and lastly....GO CHIEFS!!!!!
I hope the collective bargaining agreement gets solved so we have football in 2011! They have til' March to hammer out an agreement, but if they dont, we might not see the NFL for awhile!
-
I would like to see the NFL get rid of "the dog killer".!! Period!!
-
It's crazy to me that KC is hosting a playoff game by finishing first in their division, even though they had a 2-4 division record. Oakland was 6-0, swept the division, but they don't get to play in the post-season.
-
Originally from Illinois, so sic 'em Bears! But now in the Kansas City area, SO GO CHIEFS!! Haven't had a whole lot to cheer about at either end in past years. :-[
-
GO CHIEFS!!!!!!
-
ok.ok.ok!! how do you spell history????? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???
CHIEFS! :o :o :o
Sorry guys.. had to do it! :-[ :-[ :-[
-
After the Seahawks, and Jets, I was expecting to see KC go down, Now I am expecting GB to take the Eagles...We'll soon see!
-
u may be right rube. they are up by 14 points now!
-
i find myself rooting for green bay, I am impartial as far as the teams go
BUT feel very strongly about "michael dog killer vick"!! he should not be allowed to play or even be affiliated with the NFL.
Go Green bay! up 21-10 4 minutes left! OOPS dog killer just scored.. :'( :'( :'(
now its 21 - 16...
-
RODGERS...RODGERS!!!!
-
thats it.. :o :o dog killer go home!! ;D ;D....... ok this week is over... ::) ::) deep breaths.... relax... move on!! LOL!!
-
Well....that does it for me with the Chiefs! I have had it with this team! Until I see them put together a powerhouse team, I write them off and will watch them just like I do any other teams. I supported them in the 70's when they were a laughing stock and Arrowhead was half to three quarters empty. I supported them and cheered through the '86 wild card game when we got smoked by the Jets, I backed them through the downslope towards the Schottenheimer era, I cheered and supported them throughout the Schottenheimer era, the Vermeil era, the Herm Edwards debacle and even into this new Pioli/Haley regime. But now....I have had enough! Not only did we set the record of most consecutive playoff losses, but I believe, and I maybe wrong, but I believe we are also the only team in history to have TWO homefield advantages throughout the playoffs and blow them BOTH! I bleed red and yellow, but this one broke my back. There are a lot of Chiefs fans supporting them right now, but there are also a lot that feel like me right now! We have had FIVE coaches take us to to the playoffs since Stram who couldnt get it done, SIX QB's who couldnt get it done (including Montana), and I have been through the Delaney death, the 2 blown HF advantages, Nick Lowery's missed FG in Miami due to Dave Szott's holding penalty, The KC-Buffalo AFC Championship game, the "Lin Elliott" game, etc., etc., And you cant blame it on youth because the veterans under Schottenheimer, Mackovic and Vermeil didnt do it either!
Go Ravens!!!
Thank you, Packers for eliminating the dog killer! No better person to have throw an INT to send his team home!
-
thats right andy!! :o :o :o
-

Atleast we agree on 2 of them !
-
I think the Ravens-Steelers and Pats-Jets will get down right dirty nasty! They have been throwing the manure back and forth all week! Should be a great weekend!

JETS WIN!!!
-
So now.....
Green Bay @ Chicago
NY Jets @ Pittsburgh

-
I want newbies, so i'll take Bears & Jets
-
hmmmmm!!!??????? :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\
-
Dadgum, those Ravens! >:( :'(
WAY TO GO, JETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOODBYE TO TOM BRADY AND THE "HOODIE!" Now take care of those blasted Steelers! (I loathe the Patriots! I say looooooathe the Patriots!)
Hmmmm....Bears.....Packers......well, as they yell in Lambeau "Dum, dum...duh dah dum,dum GO, PACK, GO!"
Packers vs. Jets would be an AWESOME Super Bowl! Aaron Rogers Vs. the Jets Pass rush! Cromartie and Revis vs. Jennings, Driver and Nelson! Sanchez vs. Woodson and Mathews! It'd make ol' Jed Clampett say "Welllllll Doggies!"
-
bears looked pretty good and i dont really think the jets can pull out another one!...
BUT i will stick with em... BEARS ---- JETS.. :-\ :-\
-
Alright I have put it off long enough I am taking:
Bears and Jets.
I also don't see the Jets pulling off another, but i don't want Pittsburgh to go!
-
well then, COME ON JETS!!!!!
-
I went 4/4. I didn't really like the Jets, but I really dislike the Patriots.
I love the Steelers, the Packers, and da Bears. I'll root for whichever of them makes it (I just hope it's not the Jets).
-
ok! game day!! any last minute predictions? or changes..
I am sticking with da Bears, and da Jets..
-
I am letting it ride....Bears and Jets.

So much for picking the teams I WANT to win...That never works what Was I thinking?
-
Packers VS. Steelers....let us ponder.....
Big Ben vs. the speed blitz of Charles Woodson and Clay Matthews
Aaron Rodgers vs. the power blitz of Troy Polamalu, James Harrison and Lamar Woodley
I am thinking Packers win by a razor's edge! Go! Pack Go!
-

Big Ben may be a head case off the field, but he knows how to win. 2 Superbowl victories already right?
