If you can tell by my moniker, Im a paranormal enthusiast. With the deep history that the Ozarks has, has anyone seen or experienced any ghosts in the area? There is a rumor that Shephard of the Hills is haunted as well as the Dewy Bald area that Branson and SDC is located near? My sister has camped in the area as well as I, and to tell the truth the area can be a little spooky especially when the fog rolls in. Care to share? TIM
There are two good threads in the "Branson Talk" section of the forums regarding this topic that can be revived. Check them out!

Thanks, Rules. I didn't want to take the time to find these threads.
I will post my own story in the Six Flags days thread that I started......it is widely known that the park IS HAUNTED. Check it out soon! Tim
Take the Lantern Light Tour in the Cave and ask them to tell you the Ghost Stories. Ask them about the girl cave guide who ran through the cave at the end of the day. They have several stories they will tell if you ask them!

I heerd tell of a haint named Howard, seems like.
Big Cedar Lodge is a well known haunted place in Branson. Dorothy Worman, whose family owned what was known many years ago as "Devil's Pool Resort" (Big Cedar today) died under mysterious circumstances and was cremated. Her ashes were scattered off the back patio of the Worman home. Her ghost has been seen at several locations, including the boat slips. One security guard there reportedly calls out "Dorothy, it's me!" when entering one of the buildings there, because he's seen her in the vicinity.
