Was just browsing through the SDC site while doing some research on Marmaros and came across this new tidbit on the attractions page:
http://www.bransonsilverdollarcity.com/rides-attractions/
Visit our NEW Official Measuring Station! Located at the Season Pass Booth in Midtown, the Official Measuring Station allows your child to be measured and receive a wristband for convenient ride entry. You will also get helpful information about which rides are appropriate for your child and family.

At first I thought, "Wow, someone's gotta be reading our conversations on here."
And now my suspicions are confirmed, because I just now noticed, reading further down the page, that they've now linked to sdcfans.com!

;DThats great! A link to us!!! finally making it to the big time!!! :D
That is a good idea! Clearly Copper, SteamFreak, or DocSpeleo tipped them off! :D
It's nice that they realize we're here in their best interest.
This is from SDC's website - some great publicity and a terrific "give-back" to fans. Anybody going?

I would love to go, but I can't imagine getting up early enough to trek down there, plus I'd have to find someone to take me.... AND I'd have to make sure I could get back up in time for my 9am class, which I'm doubting could happen...
Oh wells. At least I've got my SDC Times coupon!

Oh yeah, it's been like that for a while, I think. I talked to one of the marketing heads this summer about the site. They've always been really awesome towards us.
The new mesuring station is great. My youngest daughter got to ride Thunderation because the one at the new mesuring station is accurate. I out her up against the one at the ride and it still said she was a little too short.
I'll have to remember the measuring station when my family goes next Wednesday.
The measuring station has been fairly popular, mostly with families headed to the Grand Expo, hopefully next year that's where it'll be located. I've worked the station a few times for some extra hours, and the response has been for the most part very positive.
I think it would be cool to have one outside the front gate so the people waiting to get in first thing in the morning could get their kids done while they are waiting to go into the park...
