Title: Flooded Mine Real Peope???
Post by: cjfootball_89 on August 06, 2009, 07:00:11 PM
Didn't there used to be real people inside the flooded mine interacting with the riders a long time ago? I would be too young to know but my mother seems to remember that there were people in the mine scaring the riders. My mother remembers people reaching out to touch the riders. Does anyone else remember this happening? (this would have been in the 70's)

Yes, they did have real people inside at one time. I am not old enough to have a first hand account, but have been told by numerous park employees.

I went to Young Christian's Weekend once in jr. high and a guy dressed in a convict outfit scared me to death in there.  He popped out of the darkness, too.  I'll never forget that.

^That happened to me once too when I was five or six years old.  I can still see his face popping up out of the darkness... :o
