The only other RMCs that I have ridden are New Texas Giant and Fire in the Hole so maybe it's normal but does anyone know why Outlaw Run's lap bar is so heavy? Seems like I am helping someone lift it up every single ride.

Sadly, I do not. I wish that I did. I am an engineer for the NNSA.

Off topic, but... I'm curious to hear a quick thought on the micro nuclear underground reactors they are talking about testing in Southeast Kansas.
Any concerns with potential contamination especially with it being somewhat close to a fault line

hmmm....not quite what I work with and I don't have any insider knowledge about that specific project. I would not be happy if they were testing it close to my home though.
Thanks Dfisher, for indulging my curiosity!
Back to lap bars. :)
I have nothing ridden enough RMCs to weigh in on the lap bars.

I was wondering about DFisher.

I've ridden 10 of the I-Box/Topper Track RMCs, and yes, the lap bars are all as heavy as the ones on Outlaw Run.
