And by "very", let me add my personal situation: I moved to New Hampshire. I haven't been home to Arkansas in four years (and my mother doesn't hesitate to remind me every time we talk!). Probably the only way I'll visit SDC again is if I win the lottery.
And if I win the lottery, I'll be staying at Ozark Valley Inn to thank them for their partnership with SDC fans! :)
Has anyone had the chance to stay here yet>> i wont be back until memorial weekend..
Looking forward to my Visit with Andrea, and of course being back in town
We will be having some guests in this Friday and we are so excited for our 1st SDC fans to come in!!! We look forward to seeing all of you throughout the 2019 season.
We'll be there tonight; looking forward to our to our furst stay.
We hope that you enjoyed your stay. It was great getting to meet you and your family!!!! I hope you come back again
Thanks, Andrea!
Folks, Ozark Valley is everything we could want it to be. Check in was quick and painless. Andrea is a great person to work with. The room was clean and neat and perhaps a hair larger than the Classic's. We were on a severe budget this past weekend, so we did breakfast at the motel, and the food was good, plentiful and convenient.
The amenities are a bit of a step up from the Classic, and Andrea is taking good care of us.
My family is happy.

We had a 1 night stay Sunday May 5th. Was able to check in at 1:30 before we headed out to SDC for the afternoon and evening. Room was very clean, was pleasantly surprised to find the room had 2 queen beds and a recliner.
We didn't check out the breakfast this time but the coffee in the breakfast room was great!
Biscuit, thats great!
I like the way it sounds......
Anybody there this weekend? everything good?
Who will be there Memorial Weekend? Lets meet up for a few minutes..
I will be coming in friday or sat, and until monday morning
This is a bit delayed, and I apologize for that. I'm so excited to read about the happy experiences that everyone is having so far!!! It's been WONDERFUL to be able to meet everyone. The entire staff here and myself feel very blessed to have all of you team up with us for the 2019 season. I'm looking forward to meeting more of the SDC Fans members as the season goes on.
Our sincere thanks for all the positive comments that have been left so far. It has been our pleasure.
I drove by your place today but am currently staying at the Hampton out by the golf course since this is a business stay. Next time I am in town I will be doing the Ozark!

Glad to hear it Okie... I think this is going to work out well for all of us.. ;D
Had another good stay on Sunday night the 12th. Different room this time, no recliner -- again everything very clean, definitely like the beds better than Classic.
Needed to get on the road so we had to skip breakfast again.
Thats is good to hear, You need to get up earlier, so you can review the breakfast for us.. LOL
I am really getting excited to try it out. If I am not mistaken I am thinking they have a hot tub out by the pool, is this correct?

I will be there this weekend as well...
No gaurantee about parking ,
but according to google earth view, yes parking with trailer should be ok..
looks like the NE corner has room to back in,
also SE corner near the trash dumpsters.
Looking forward to this weekend..!
Wow, we've been so busy the last week that I havent had the chance to jump on here... But after reading the comments; The entire staff of Ozark Valley Inn thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the kindness written on here. We are very proud that those of you that have come to stay with us have enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed having you.
Yes we have an outdoor pool, hot tub and game room that are open (weather permitting) from 9am - 10:30 pm.
I will be headed that way sat morning...
anybody else going to be in the area..?
I had a great stay this weekend. this place is Nice!! The girls are great! After this weekend I know we have a place to stay for a long time..
Rooms seem bigger,
Bathrooms are bigger,
rooms are mostly all updated,
easy access to all rooms,
Breakfast is a nice little spread.. pretty much the same as before EXCEPT, fresh cinnamon rolls, Boiled eggs and make your own waffles..
The pool area is nice, clean, close to building,
Hot tub and game room are nice also,
Andrea and Melinda are all about taking care of the motel, and us.. super nice ladies and always available..
This is great news. I can't wait to try it out.

We were there this weekend too. Great place to stay!! Andrea is super nice! Already have Labor day weekend booked. Really looking forwards to another stay:)
Keep in mind after you stay and fall in love with the place... Go to Tripadvisor and leave a 5 star review..! Andrea will appreciate, and more importantly they deserve it..
We stayed at Ozark Valley Inn last night. Was only a one night stay as we had reservations since February at another motel . Our stay s good, but next time we stay at Ozark we will want another room away from the pool and hot tub. Was noisy. But will stay there again. Andrea was very nice and helpful, breakfast was good..
Sounds like a great place to stay. I'm sure we'll book a night or two there at some point this year.

I have a cousin coming into town at the end of the month and am referring her to the hotel. So while I won't be staying, it looks like I'll at least get to drop in and visit. So Andrea, if you get a call from a Nancy asking about the rooms, that's from me. :-)

Refer friends and family and stay there every time we come to town, which will be easy to do since they are doing such a great job.!
Stayed last night and the place is clean, well maintained, comfortable, the pool area is nice. Everyone seems friendly. Seems quite a bit better than our old place. Can't wait for our next stay.
I'm so glad that everyone seems to be enjoying their stays here. We are just as excited as all of you are to be your new "home".
I forgot to mention we were on the ground floor facing the pool area. I usually do not like the ground floor because you hear people above you all night. It seems like the place is built out of thick concrete so there was no sound at all from above. Also, during the day there was activity from pool area you could hear in the room but it was actually convenient to be close to the pool. It closes down at 10:30 so it is plenty quiet after that.

My rooms for the 4th are on Pools side.
I am ready for another visit.. this winter/spring/summer thing is nuts!!
Another great stay on the night of the 7th. We had a King room next to the pool area (but we didn't bring our suits). There was some noise in the evening, but it died promptly at 10:30, so no objections. We hardly heard it anyway.
Clean room, good breakfast, close parking: we're happy (non-)campers!
FYI- I know a few of you came to Branson on the 4th and have joined in on my Fireworks Display at the motel in years past..
I will NOT be doing that this year. Maybe Next year I/we can make arrangements with Andrea and the rest of the bunch.
Since we are just starting to get acquainted at the Motel, I thought that a Fireworks event like i oput on, might be a little overwhelming for them..
Anyone planning on being in town that weekend/week?
I will be up in Springfield the 28th conducting some job interviews and will probably go down Saturday. Had not thought about the about the holiday week/weekend, might make an appearance.

For the record, on that particular night....
There were No reported injuries! ;)
There were NO casualties :)
Didnt have to call the ambulance.!! :D
Did have to rearrange some of the chairs.!! ???
That was 3 or 4 years ago!! ???
I have invoked several safety precautions since then with no incidents reported.. ;) ;)
LMAO!! "Time out!! Have a Beer!!" :o :o
I told you you would never live that one down! BTW one of the best 4th I have ever had
We are here from Monday to Saturday

loved my room, except it was poolside..... (KIDS!!! >:( >:(). amazing how some of them act and get away with it.!!
I know now to ask for different area, no big deal.. Andrea offered to move me, but not worth the trouble for everyone. just chalk it up to expierence. ;D
Breakfast seemd better than usual, the fresh cinnamon rolls are good..
Overall a great visit.. back in about a month.

NO Changes to the Double Queen or the King Room.
However She wanted me to let the group know:

I am pretty sure this doesnt affect 99% of us,, But she did call and asked me to make sure everyone was aware..
To clarify: the rate still applies to the Double Queen room but the upcharge to the King room (with fancy tub) is now bigger, correct?
Sorry if I am being dense.

Correct... NO RATE CHANGES ON ANYTHING.......except the King room with Jacuzzi tub.. I am sure that will not effect 99% of us. But obviously there was someone using the room or trying to use the room at a deep discount rate..

Glad you were able to check it out, and had a good stay..
I am really impressed with Andrea and her crew, they are doing a great job.

We are so glad that you all enjoyed your stay. We definitely enjoyed having you. Hope to see you again anytime you are in Branson.
had another good visit with Andrea and the girls. She mentioned they are already filling up fast for Labor Day and getting several reservation for Fall.
If your planning a trip, give her a call and get your reservations in.

Just checked with Andrea, the Motel is closing down on Sunday, Dec 22nd....
That is of course with the NYE special offer to us..

Biscuit, I also go once a month "off season"..
I will talk to Andrea next time down,
I always come down for Valentines.
I will find out when she is back from vacation, see if she want to mess with visitors or not. Will keep everybody advised on that..
I was just hoping to get an accurate count and info for rooms for the NYE. Apparently while updating and getting set for the next season we lost those "off season" reservations. Please feel free to shoot me a message or call the hotel directly so I can get them put in for you all and know what staff I need to keep later in the season.
Thanks,
Andrea
Andrea,
There will be 3 of us (Allen family) either the 26th or the 27th.
Palallin, suggest you call andrea and verbally verify...
I called last night and confirmed my 3 nights.. sund-mon-tuesd....
Anyone else going to be here for the weekend..?
Just remember IF you are staying and you stay until New Years Day, we need to be out of the rooms by 9!! Andrea has family plans and I dont want us to hold her up..
Please call the hotel directly for any reservations. I'm not always able to log on and I definitely don't want to miss any questions or reservation requests that y'all have. Any of our top notch guest service agents can assist you with questions or reservations. If you need to speak personally with me for any reason and I'm not available just leave a message with the guest service agent and I will return your call as quickly as possible.

Does anyone know when they open for the year and if our rate will stay the same? I'm trying to plan a trip for the middle of March. Thanks!
I expect the Rate to be the same, they were very happy with us staying there and it works out well for all of us.
As far as opening I dont know, I sent Andrea a message and called and left a message at motel... As soon as i hear something I will let you all know.
I do remember seeing something about they will be open for Valentines weekend, IF that benefits any of you... LOL..
will keep in touch,
Talked to Andrea today.
They have not set an opening date yet, But assured me they will be open before SDC opens on the 17th.
I asked her to post as soon as they pick an opening date. Sounded like it will be the first or Second weekend in March.
Looks like opening for the season is going to be march 5th..
Give Andrea a call for your Season opening reservations..
Also she did contact me and they are making some changes on the room rates and Blackout Dates. I suggested that she post them accordingly. Once posted I will change the Opening post to reflect changes..
You might want to verify your room costs when making reservations,,!!
COME ON WARM, DRY WEATHER!!
Andrea and The Owner/manager Have Listed Rate Changes and Black out dates. I called to check and see what the "regular" prices are.
Depending on season, room location and couple of other things the room rates vary between 55 and 65.00 per night..
See below for a copy of her post..::

Still a good deal. I understand the changing business dynamics. Branson was packed quite often last year, so with increased demand comes increased prices.
Thats right Shave,
With their Breakfast,
Nice pool area and the Game room,
still is a good deal..
Blackout meaning we would not get these dates?

No, Blackout meaning if you reserve a room it will be at the regular rate, rather than our discount rate..
Next question would be,
"what is the regular rate".?
It varies from month to month, weekend to weekend, but the easiest answer is 55.00 - 65.00 per night... Best thing to do is when you make reservation, Verify the price.
Anyone stayed here yet this year?
I know we lost over 3 months with the Plandemic,,
but i was just wondering..?
how did it go,
what rate did you pay?,,
Nope, the new black outs do not work with our schedule. I did book a couple of nights there thru Travelocity which was cheaper than our rate. I ended up cancelling it and booking at the Honeysuckle inn for a couple of nights. Stayed there 2 weekends in a row.

That is my problem there too.. its a shame, I really did like the staff and staying there.. IF you dont need a pool and just some place to sleep, Call Michele, only 50 bucks..
We stayed there on Thursday night 7/9 at the discount rate. We did have to stay upstairs though. I actually liked the upstairs room we had better than the ones we have stayed in downstairs. Breakfast was available, pool was open.
We tried Hall of Fame 2 weeks ago but like OVI better.

@Biscuit
Good to hear,
No doubt OVI has more "goodies" to offer, and if you are able to get in on the Discount rate.. makes it a great deal.!!
What $$rate did you pay?
Total paid at OVI was 52.69. We paid more at HOF even though DH called directly and asked for the discount when he made the reservation.

Thats a good rate, glad you were able to get it...
If there is ever a question about HOF, talk to Michele at All Access.. It is way easier to have her make the reservations and put in proper rate..
AS always, IF there is ever a question, i can be contacted through PM here, and I will call or contact Michele and find out where the "miscommunication" is..
