I'm getting married in October and I want to use a garter from SDC. Our colors are blue and black, and I'm pretty sure there are (or used to be) blue garters at SDC. I was there last week and couldn't find any in any gift shops. I know they sell them in the saloon, but it was a HOT day and all indoor activities were packed. I think I have a blue garter packed away somewhere. Even if I dig it out, I don't want to chance losing it if whoever catches it decides to keep it, it gets lost in the excitement at the reception, etc. Does anybody know if they still have blue garters? Or maybe someone would be willing to part with one...?

First off, Congrats on your upcoming marriage!! I would for sure buy a "throw away" garter just for this occasion, IF you can make it back to the park before Oct.

I have seen them in the hospitality house in the back near where the cave tour returns.

Call SDC customer service and see if they can finangle one for you. Tell them what you want it for. They might be able to help!

My neice got married a couple years ago. She used a purple garter from the Saloon show, that we bought for her. You should have seen the face of the girl who caught it when she read the tag stating where it came from. It stirred quite a comotion, but it did cause the girl who caught it, to take a trip to the "city'. So it paid off well.

We called and they said they had white... I'm going to attempt to dye it royal blue... I'll post pictures of how it turns out.

They never got back to me, so my sister-in-law made a garter for me.

I got married October 17 in Pacific, Mo, at the church that Chris and I attend. I really wanted to get married at SDC, but Chris wouldn't have it (we're still working through a few things... lol).
