Have any of you been at the park during the 5000th Guest Ceremony? Or were you or a friend or family member the 5000th guest?
It's something new being done this year - "The Year of the Guest"

You get a free photo ornament with your family and the gang pictured above. . . And that gets you to the front of the line of every ride and every show all day long! WOW!
^That's really cool, and a nice showing of appreciation by the park! :D Is it really the 5,000th guest, or do they just randomly pick someone?
^^That'd be awesome! Does SDC get 5,000 people in the park everyday though? I know they do in the summer but once fall gets here, will they?
Of course it's the 5,000th guest! lol
Well, that's a trade secret that I cannot divulge!
^So it's not the 5,000th guest...I smell a conspiracy. ;)
I want to be the 5000th. Can I be the 5000th? Can I? Well, can I? Huh? May I?
And can I get a rain check on the first-in-line thing so I can go on a really busy day and make it count?
^ :D :D I wonder how many times they've heard that one?
i doubt very many make the comment about the raincheck... the 5,000th guest is usually a child and the family is freaked out by the bass drum and tuba. haha
^Of course, it's only right to make a child the 5,000th guest. I think at Halloween Terry Sanders should be dressed as Mr. M. Balmer (the undertaker) and measure the winning guest for a casket. Maybe not. That'd really freak out the family...and traumatize the kid! ;)
I'd rather just have the front-of-the-line option, and skip out on all the photos.
I came to have fun, not to do a photo shoot...if you I mean.
That's just me though, I'm sure some people would LOVE to take some photos with that um......lively....gang. ::)
Well JohnnyBoy that photo is not a photo shoot... one Polaroid photo is hardly a photo shoot... and that's the ornament thats used to prove that you're the 5000th guest. So without posing next to that lively gang your not going to the front of the line buddy!
I think you know what I mean... ::)
