I'd say this is circa 1970, not 1960.  They reference 1963 in the video, and some time has passed since then and the interview.

Strange that the OK Historical Society has this.

They also reference that the machines for candy making were about 75yrs old so yes right about the late 60's early 70's. Funny to think at that time, some elderly visitors were coming to a recreation of their childhood 75-80 yrs earlier!

Isn't it odd to see that grassy area in the center?  I miss that open feel of Main Street; sometimes it seems very crowded in there.

They also talk about Paul Henning and The Beverly Hillbillies and I believe those episodes were filmed around 1968.

I only just found this independently on YouTube, not realizing it had been posted here before. It's so fascinating! So I thought I'd bump this thread to the top because we have so many more members now who might be interested in seeing it.
