I like it.  It appeals to those of us who are nostalgic.  It's low-key enough to capture the attention amidst all the hard beats and loud voices of the average commercial these days.

I really enjoyed that! It's not a "in your face" commercial.  Good job SDC!

WOW. I have not seen that one yet. I like it. I did see the new Branson commercial on RFD the other night. (Well I wasn't really paying that much attention) but I did hear something different anyway. I might go back and watch it again now.

Thank You  How-Do for posting this one

Saw it yesterday. Thought it was very well done. Maybe the PTB are starting to get that we need to strike some kind of balance between "new and improved" and those of us that are nostalgic for the way it used to be.

I think there are far more than just a few of us that want the nostalgic.

Bunting like this is all over the park.  The bunting looks nice and is appropriate, but the nylon garden flags (50-star American flags hung vertically) and informative and quote signs from American history proved distracting from the theme.

Is it overkill?

No, it's not overkill.  It's a great way to bring new life to the scenery.  I thought it looked very nice.  Crisp and clean, too.

From what little I saw last sunday (snow and rain)...  the square looked fine.. not to trashed up.  I posted pics....   Although when I was there the flags had all been taken down for bad weather (as they should)..   I am headed back down next sunday for a unscheduled trip... hope to see more of the park and will have more pics....

I just wonder where all those flags came from. Nothing makes me want to vomit more than when I see an American flag that says "made in china"

I totally agree. But every time I've went to ChinaMart to buy a flag expecting to find just that, they have all been American made by some company that starts with two a's in the name.
