I've seen these pictures somewhere, I just can't put my finger on where! :)

Still such an impressive, and historic sight! It's amazing that the water level was ever that high. The entire Branson Landing is practically underwater. It even looks like some of the boats are traveling over the bridge.

I found them on a local Branson FB page..  would like to know how "high" the water actually goes up the hill into branson..

I wonder if that's muslin covering the windows as screening. Woven wire screen had been widely available for over 50 years by 1929, but I have no idea what the price difference would be.
