Sad to hear this news. Been through the museum before and they did a great job. Saw this coming, though. I knew they were having problems for the last two years or so. Sorry to see this attraction go. Take advantage of it while it is still here...get out and see it before the collection is broken up.
I hate to hear this! As an aviation enthusiast, I always enjoy seeing that P-51 Mustang in the parking lot. Like most tourist destinations, Branson is a living city which means some things come, and go. However, I sure hope they can find a way to make it work.
As usual, everything is about money. And right now it seems like money is tight everywhere. Wish I was still making the money I was making 5 years ago, but even that doesn't go as far as it used to. I was making 10 dollars more per hour back then.
The museum did close and the auction was this week. The entire collection wasn't sold -- just parts of it that the bank owned. There is still hope of reopening the museum.

I saw that article, but what it did not make clear was that if ALL items actually "SOLD". or not..
I am sure the bank was not just going to let everything go...
Bummer. I hope they are able to reopen.
A shame indeed. I've been there before also and really enjoyed it.
reopened today..... ;D
