I am just curious if she is still works there.. I do not watch The Homestaed Pickers much, except right before the park opens, so i never get to see her. There is some videos on YouTube of her.
Another good topic would be, what are some of the old citizens of SDC doing now, if they dont work at the park any more.
Judy still works there.....saw her on our last visit. Her and husband Richard (Tiny) have their books on Amazon and at August House online now.
Do you have links or know what to search for?
Their website that I have is:www.yawp.com/stories
Hope that helps.
Judy is usually around McHaffie Homestead. I visited her a while back and she is just as talkative as ever. You will ask her one question and she will go on for fifteen minutes, entertaining you the entire time. Her and Richard are authorities on storytelling, they have written many books on the topic.
thank you!
I will be there in three weeks and I hope Aunt Judy is there. I may float my idea of beinging back the old stories.
It would be great if they did that. They could use stuff in Richard and Judy's books and maybe get some kind of royalty out of SDC for performing the material. Plus, all that great, old Vance Randolph stuff!
Speaking of storytelling, there's a little storytelling venue in HDH that I've never seen activated. Why build it in the first place?

I saw Terry Sanders reading a book to children there once. Perhaps it was just a spring time thing, or perhaps it was just to showcase the new area.
During the Kids Fest , some of the Image people read stories at HDH every day.
