thats a fun video.. looks like they were having WAAYYY too much fun.. But I would have to ask,, whats is the deal with the guy walking his dog on the Maint road, below PK?
Looked like a perfct day to be playing, seem like the weather is bound and determined not to allow a full 4 day NICE weekend...!
I have seen that dog 1 time before, but i think he was with a older guy. ???
Here is a short one from 1975 just published in March of this year.

The bluegrass band playing at the beginning of the video in the square looks to be Driven...They are one of my favorite bands that we see every year at the Colby, Kansas bluegrass festival. The 2 twin brothers are from Colby...they are a great up and coming band...

I'm still trying to get my uncle to put his old reels on DVD. As soon as he does, I will post them straight to youtube. They're videos from the 70s and 80s featuring my grandma (the one who's fault it is that I can't live without SDC), and my cousins when they were between ages 5 and 10.
that'd be cool Tiff! ;D i have 2 other videos i have found but not posted yet. 1 is a Young Christian group from back in April of this year, its more of a slideshow tho'.
i wanna see grown-ups in some'a these videos. i like to see what all people do while at the park. 8)
Would love to see some old videos from the 80s and 70s. Out of all the stuff posted on the Internet, I have never seen diving bell footage. I cannot understand why. Somebody videotaped us almost every week back then. The old video units were huge. Back then, no cell phones with cameras in them!
Here is a slideshow of a group from Heartland Church in Knob Noster.

Here is a real "trippy" one of Marvel Cave, in 3D!! Check it out, man. 8)

Thanks everyone for posting videos. I'd still love to see some vintage stuff from the 60s 70s or 80s if you can dig through grandpas or mom and dads closet to get it.
I'll tell ya what okiebluegrass, the person on YouTube who posted this ( MyPowderkeg ) has tons of videos of SDC!!

I watched this! There was much snorting and giggling emanating from my office for 44 minutes this morning. :D I am not at all ashamed. This was the Saloon Show of my childhood!
I'm so old, that the Carrie Nation show was still pretty new the first time I saw it. It opened in 1973 and I arrived the next year. That's the show from my childhood.

You arrived the next year? Heck, I'm so old I SAW it that year!
Check this out! I cannot believe just how "chain" like SDC Branson and SDC Tennessee was.
http://youtu.be/48f9cXvdiOA
My momma saw it that year. Does that count. I wasn't born til 74
Here is 1 i had in reserve. Not many folks making SDC videos for YouTube these days.
They did do a good job of editing & graphics on this one. Enjoy!

Here is one about the food at SDC. Published way back in Feb. of this year.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z1tzcbNPetw
I watched that one last week. The food sure looked good. It should be illegal to post something like that during the off-season when you can't do anything about it ;)
Here is one just for Junior. Browns Candy Factory from 1987. Just published to YouTube on June 18th.

Here is another new one with a family full of fun. Just published June 14th.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrEaohSbFNQ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrEaohSbFNQ)
Loving the videos! I don't know if it is helping with my SDC fix, or just making it worse! :D Thanks for posting.
Watched the youtube video of Charlie and Tilley's wedding from 99. It was preety cool
For my 1000th post on this website, here ya go!! The Beverly Hillbillies - SDC Fair. I just found this today, published May of this year. Enjoy!!

grats on the 1,000 postings///
Liked the video too ;)
Famous citizens in that video: Fiddler Slim Wilson in square dance scene, Pete Herschend tall red headed/bearded gent at basket shop, Gary Snadon (I think) (Shepherd of the Hills owner) tall gent in brown shirt in candle shop, and the famous Chick Allen at the Medicine Show. Thanks for posting!
Just found this. This guy is from a group called The Coaster Crew, from Florida. It is his first time to the park, pretty good video.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNIIPK510pA
I saw that video and found him to be a little condescending.
Ok everybody, i have found a real gem! SDC - Marvel Cave Park 1955.. Very shakey & out of focus, but it'll work. It starts at the :34 mark, up to the 2:47 mark. Published July 2nd of this year.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-G7hsJPEbM
Very cool!
The video is WAYYYY COOOOL! However, it is mislabeled. SDC did not exist in '55. The video must be from the 1960-1965 era. Probably closer to 1960, as this does show SDC in its early, early form. Funny how even though the signs have changed and the trees are bigger, you can still recognize where on park the shots were done!
Here's another'n, just more family fun. :) The park looks really empty in this video. And 1/2 the video is a walk thru Grandpas Mansion.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xo7PiPyQsSY

This is from last year, but i have never seen FM with the lights on! The inmates all have Santa hats on. ;)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85D-eLtV3yA
Went searching again, all the fun begins at the 1:46 mark. It has 1 of the most famous "vacation songs" during the video! Found afew more too, will post later. Enjoy! This one says July of this year.
