Good day -- It is my daughters 27th B'day. We are going to take her out to eat later today, & hang out. We were going to go to some auto races, but most of them got rained out.
Bad day -- I am putting my cat Winston down today. He has been with me for 15+ years, he has a lot of health issues. It is just time. We have 3 other cats to keep me busy.

Sorry about the cat, what you have to do today is one of the hardest things we have to do as adults. But kitty wont be hurting anymore and will be in good company in pet heaven..
How-Do. I am sorry about Winston. If you remember, I had to put my 18 year old SNUGGLES down on March 16. She was a good kitty. We have another kitty now. He is only 1 year old. Very playful and loads of fun. He is a real cuddle bug too. But I still miss the old girl. Well at least you have a good meal to look forward to tonite. We ended up going to Red Lobster on our "BAD" day. We needed something as me and wifey were tear filled most of that day.
I do understand when you have a "PET" for 15 years (or more) they become as much "family" as the kids are.

As for Winston. The feelings you go thru are crazy. You wonder, you dought yourself, plus alot more, it has been a real trip. We are getting better though. Just miss him.. I made a picture video of him if ya wanna see it qwed94. Yes qwed94, i remember you having to put your cat down too. I feel for ya, glad ya got another kitty!
Well I am glad you are getting better. It sounds weird, but it takes a while. Those pets dig down deep in your heart, they are hard to let go of.
Our Son was out at Thanksgiving (2012) and noticed how bad our little Snuggles was doing. So him & GF adopted a kitty and gave him to us at Christmas (2012). He was set and ready to go. Nuetered, full shots, flea/tick guarded. And a certificate to get him declawed for a deep discounted price. (Which we did). He is a typical Grey/Black striped Tabby (Officially Maine-Coon-Mix) He is on the back of my chair with his head on my shoulder as we type. He has his head on my shoulder about 70% of the time.

I'll just say 1 thing about my daughter without getting too personal - she is just not living the right life, right now. But ofcourse i still love her with all my heart.

Woke up with miserable Migraine on Saturday ended up sleeping much of the day.
Ended up taking camper back to Dads and forget about camping.
Son called Saturday-asking us to come out Saturday nite. (headache is better for sure, but still there "for sure")
Good Weekend
When we arrived at Sons house, he greeted us with a trip to Red Lobster.
Started raining steady about 9 PM Saturday--Stopped raining Sunday about 11 AM (UHHH why is this good)? Because we DID NOT go camping. Rain and POPUPS are a pain.
My headache is gone.
Im on vacation all week. WEEEE HAAAA
