I was wondering if I would be allowed to use the Branson logo on scarves to sell (You know the 'B' that lights up on the water tower, looks like a music note?). I don't know if it's trademarked, or what all the rules of that are and I really don't wanna go to jail. Does anybody know anything about this?
I think your concern is IF the logo is "copyrighted".... and i dont have a clue how to verify that...maybe Rube? shave? swoosh? Junior?......
Tiff, call the city of Branson or the Chamber as I believe it is copyrighted and they just want to know how you are going to use and sure it would be fine since it would be used as "advertisement" for the city.
Be very careful in this. A few years ago there were some lawsuits in regards to various companies using "Branson" in their name without permission. I don't remember if the city or the chamber tried to trademark the word "Branson".
Yes, check with the Branson/Tri Lakes Chamber of Commerce and or the City of Branson. Start with the CofC.
