Title: Bumper stickers on you car after show
Post by: SDC-BMW on July 02, 2012, 08:01:33 PM
I remember walking out of Pressley's (and every other show/attraction) and free of charge you had a big ole bumper sticker stuck on your big ole chrome bumper. My dad would get incensed. LOL Advertising at it' s finest in the mid 70's.

Yes, we've discussed this particular memory before -- my dad also got extremely irate about it.

I remember pulling the stickers off my bumbers well into the 80's.  If you parked at Wal Mart (Grand Country Square now) there was sure to be a flyer under your windsheild wiper for Treasure Lake (now resorts).  If you went to Dogpatch and put both sun visors down in your vehicle they would not assult your car with their stickers.
