DS is adding a lumberjack aspect to its show in 2012. For the past couple of years DS in Pigeon Forge has had lumberjack events as part of the show and the decision has been made to add it to the Branson show. The lumberjacks will compete as teams as part of the North/South rivalry. It sounds as though the events are similar to the lumberjacks events held during SDC's Harvest Festival in 2011. Modifications are being made to the Branson arena.

Looks cool. And yes, a lot like the lumberjack show at Harvest Festival. I guess there's only so many different things a lumberjack show can do. I still wish I would have had the chance to see Tall Timber before it closed. Pretty sure they included chain saws which neither SDC or DS will have as I'm not sure they were around between 1860 and 1890. ;D
I saw that they were going to do this in the times. I dont get it. Where will they put it?? How will the splasing water affect the dirt floor???
If they keep adding "stuff" to DS, I may have to break down and spend the money to go :-\

According to the article some construction is going on inside the arena to prepare for this show. Some of the events aren't water related.
