That was a good article. Him and I have a lot in common! ;D
good stuff thanks for posting! ;D
I see him all the time at SDC, and not realizing it.. Have seen him in branson at other shows. Now that i have a name to go with the face. I am anxiuos to meet him...
Tiff?... have you ever gone to any of the murder mystery shows in branson. the one that fred and helena do? they are always funny,,
Thanks for posting, that was very interesting!
Quick question that someone here might know the answer to. Do many of SDC's performers also work in shows around Branson? Just something I had never really thought about before, but the article talked about.
Coaster, many SDC performers work at shows in the Branson area. This goes way back to the 60s and 70s. As a young kid working in SDC restaurants, I parked cars at night at the Heart of America Rodeo in 1979 at Mutton Hollow. Later, as an attractions worker/entertainer at SDC, I worked nights in support services roles at Hee Haw Theater. Terry Sanders as you know has worked at the old Toby Show, many Branson stage shows, and Shepherd of the Hills. Many, many other examples exist. It's pretty common. It is also necessary. Your average full time person in performance at SDC will make somewhere in the low to high 20's per year, so it is kind of important to hold that night job to bring in the income to live a middle class life.

Next year they are going to have 4 different show throughout the year,,,, so with multiple visits you wont get bored.
the 2 "owners/managers/writers" Helena & Fred, are great people.. helene is a local gil born and raised.. check em out!
i gaurantee laughs and a good time. the show is a dinner & show combination.
Next time I'm in town, I'll do a lot of persuading, or begging. Whatever works!
Thanks for posting this. I'm glad to know his name. When we were at SDC last fall, he spent about 15 minutes playing and interacting with my kids, he especially enjoyed giving my 11-yr-old daughter a hard time, which she thoroughly enjoyed.
This was on Robert's Facebook yesterday:
"TOMORROW NIGHT!!!! AMERICAN IDOL HOUSTON AUDITIONS!!!! Might be able to see me & what the judges said to me! Tomorrow night on FOX at 7:00 CST!!!"
So that means its gonna be on tonight! :D
So watch American Idol!!
He was only on there for a few seconds and you had to look VERY closely to see him. They didn't even show him sing :(
He didn't make it to Hollywood, but that just means we get to visit him in person instead of having to watch TV to see him!
^ I watched it, and was on the close lookout to see him, but never did. I wonder what they didn't like about him.
Too much awesome ;D Lol, idk.
It was near the end, maybe 5 minutes before the show was over. He was kinda just a face in the crowd. If I would have blinked, I would have missed it.
