This looks like it was shot from a radio controlled plane or something. I bet he used a GoPro camera, they work great on racecars too. Very interesting....

SWEET! Whatever he was flying had a serious transmitter/receiver in it... he was way high and flew a very large circle, covered a very large area. I didnt realize the RC stuff had that much range.
My joystick must be broken.
Looks cool though. Helluva landing. I thought for sure it was broke. Definitely not my father's rc plane. Thanks for the link!!
I was able to take several rides in a helicopter and noted right away that when you reach a small height you lose most of your topographical reference. Basically, you cant tell where the hills and vallys are from up there. I was reminded of this watching the vid......pretty cool, I have no idea how that dude was able to see that plane he was flying. Looks like he launched that thing from some hotel near the Panera Bread behind Andy Williams theater. Pretty Cool!!
That is awesome! I am planning a KAP (Kite Aerial Photography) rig that I want to try out this Spring on a trip to the Ozarks. I have attempted one time, but our camera (a film camera since what I had at the time for digital cameras was too heavy) failed and all our film was fogged. I now have a small digital camera able to be lifted very easily. If you are unfamiliar with KAP there are plenty of resources out there on the internet on it.
this one is even better, he gets WAY up there!!

It is great being able to recognize some landmarks!
My joystick seemed to work much better that time. Can't wait to see another. That is some contraption that crazy @$#@ has got. LOL.
its funny looking for the buildings and landmarks that you know are there.. Hard to see them from above.
I am not into RC vehicles , so this is all new to me. pretty cool!
