rube -- if i ever find the 1 my parents have, i will send you this one, it is in better shape. but i want the 1 my parents have cuz they bought it theirselves. i just hope they still have it....
Thanks Ozark. If i wouldnt of leaned over the table while taking the pics, the quality would of been better.
I thought about taking all my ol' pics of past trips & make a youtube video of them all. Alot of folks on here couldnt see them. ???
After looking at the video, I think the "Haunted House" is what later became known as "The Butterfield Hotel." The photo of the house appears as I seem to remember the Butterfield Hotel. The building sat in the area just across from where FITH is today...part of the pathway leading to the Wilson's Farm area. I'd like to know if the "Bass Pond" mentioned is the little pond that was/is under the Swinging Bridge, or if that is what we call Lake Silver today. Any insider info on either of these issues...Butterfield Hotel/Bass Pond?
wow really cool post, thanks!!
That's great! Thanks for posting/sharing with us!
I had never seen or heard about the "haunted house" building. Also, the photo's and descriptions of Slanted Sam's were interesting.
