I can't even ride it once without getting a headache. Who would sign up if your schedule permitted?
Not I said the younger man with an older man's equilibrium. I can take a few times before my head begins to hurt, and my eyes start to ache. Never lost my lunch despite many many rides at many many parks, I just hate life for a while afterwards and need some water, a nap and some Advil.
I would sign up for that! what happens when they reach their goal??
My wife and 2 nieces coule/would ride all day of they could.... me? makes me dizzy just looking at it! ::) ::)
I thought I could never get sick ridding rides. Then the company I work for had a park night at Disney MGM studios. We got to ride the Tower of Terror and the rock and roller coaster all we wanted. We rode the roller coaster 13 times in a row and got to walk through without waiting. Well about the 12 time here came the spins. I am sure the same would happen on Wildfire. It would be a blast to try and yes I would sign up

Same here! It's my wife and son's favorite ride. I do really like the theming of it, however. I remember how excited I was to ride it the first time and when I got off the first thing I thought was I'm too old to go upside down- let's ride Fire in the Hole! :D
I couldn't handle it! How about a Flooded Mine marathon? Even the Ladybugs kiddie ride would "bug" me after a while! Ha!
FITH!!!! there ya go.. i can ride it. i think because it is in the dark and my "senses" cant take over.. LOL.. ::)
I used to ride TNT, but not anymore :(
I tried the woodie at CC, BUT that didnt work.. :'(
Just give me solid ground for my feet to stand on ;D
Depends on how many times a marathon is but I can say with Mom we rode at least 5 in a row, with my sis & her kids we did I think like 8. Yeah, I had to sit for awhile afterwards just to get my bearings. I think Lance rode once and really won't go again..poor guy. FITH I'm sure I could do all day, now the electroslide (hope that's correct) probably twice would do me in. Giant Swing all day long!
Anytime I see someone riding the rollercoasters I get a little envious. I am right there riding with them in spirit only, not physically. I only wish I could! In 1993 which I think was the first year Thunderation was open I rode it 8 straight times. After the last time I could not see or walk straight and felt nauseated for a week. In the 18 years since then I have not been able to ride coasters like Thunderation, Wildfire, or Powderkeg. I have no history of heart problems or have I ever had a seizure (except maybe for that day). I do and can ride FITH which is quite a bit milder than the others. So! I don't believe I will be signing up for the Wildfire marathon anytime soon. But I am a really good watcher :).
I'd sign up for it! So long as my competitors had a nice big breakfast at Molly's Mill first. :P
I'm out.. I dq myself, i tried riding it twice in a row & was messed up the rest'a the day. 1 time, i'm good.
Imagine doing this all-day-long! :D

The FM yes, FITH maybe, others...sorry I will watch.
How about a ride the Train marathon? Now THAT I would do. :D
I would love a train marathon! How about water rides (granted the day would need to be hot) thunder river would be fine-once you are soaked....you can't get much wetter!
Maybe they should pick 2 rides and do a marathon with those only (one water/one coaster). I would give it my best try, get wet on one/dry off on the other and just go back & forth. Just a thought... :D
I'd be afraid with the vicinity of the Lost River that they would choose a nearby ride like the Barn Swing....or they could do the Log Flume, and Wildfire
I would love to do a WildFire marathon!!!
I would gladly do the Woodcarver marathon, or the Homestead Pickers Marathon, heck I would go as far to do the Eva and Delilah's marathon (yes this would involve massive quantites of the 25LB apple pie!
If I had the time, and means I would do a number of consecutive days at Silver Dollar City Marathon. ;D
these are the marathons that I would partake in. Powder Keg, Giant swing, Flooded Mine, Lost River, Cave, Fire in the Hole, Frisco Silver Dollar Line, Grandfathers Mansion and the most important the Silver Dollar City marathon.
How about a cinnamon bread contest at the mill? Im in!!!

That's pretty funny cocodane3! A Grandfather's Mansion marathon! Lol..I think that I would be so bored after a while I would be entering thru the exit and exiting thru the entrance. At least there would be some excitement fighting your way thru the people going the other way.
I dont know, too long in the basement and my day is just all downhill!!!
