Title: Powder Keg
Post by: psykoticpenguin on July 31, 2011, 12:38:24 AM
Okay, now for a question about Powder Keg, basically the same one I had for Wildfire lol.  Do they have any bigger seats on that one?  Cause I swear, I see people bigger than I am who fit better on it than I do.  Maybe I'm just built funny?  lol

As far as I know, all of the seats are the same size on Powder Keg.

However, Powder Keg uses a lap restraint versus a shoulder restraint. The restraints on Powder Keg are quite interesting. They push down at an angle, versus dropping onto your lap. With this design, they are able to accommodate people of all sorts of sizes.

The only concern with PowederKeg is that the seats have a very drastic molded design. This is to help secure the rider into the seat in addition to the lap restraint. My memory is a bit foggy, but I want to say that there is a test seat at the entrance to the ride, just like there is on Wildfire.

Keep up the great questions! :)

Ozark BBQ is correct.  All the seats are the same size on Powder Keg.  The restraint system is designed to lock down when you stomach offers the greatest resistance.  The workers will push down on it, so you should be just fine.  Like Ozark stated though, the seat is molded, so it may be uncomfortable, but if you can move around to try and get comfy.
