Where are all the antique malls and the craft malls?
Apple Tree Mall is located on the Hwy 76 strip just down and across from Dixie Stampede. Branson Heights Shopping Center has a flea market that is good. There are at least three big flea markets in downtown Branson. There are several crafts malls in town, one on Green Mt. Road, another on Shepherd of the Hills Expressway, so, really, they are all over the place! Happy hunting!
your right junior... you know the saying...........
Look to your left you see an antique store...
Look to your right you see a craft mall...
What does that mean?
Your in Branson!!!! LOL. sorry had to do it!!
Just an FYI... Apple Tree Mall is almost empty. I went in there last month and it was less than half full.
Apple Tree Mall half empty? Something must be going on...that place has always done well. I hate to hear this news. I make it a pretty regular stop when I'm in town. Great way to spend an hour, just walking through it. Every now and then I find something good I just gotta take home with me.
There are a cpl of antique stores that are worth a look. They are consignment and that always adds to teh fun. Drive south on 76 until you pass over Hwy65 and you are in "Old Branson" you will find the stores on ether side of the street right around Dicks 5 and 10.
We found a few antique stores in downtown Branson last time we visited in 2009.... in those older shops near the new Branson Landing shopping center. (Actually, these may be the same stores mhguy77 mentioned.) We just parked in the area and walked around to several stores.
However, if you don't mind a little drive, we hit the jackpot in Ozark, MO -- there's an exit on Hwy. 65 with four large antique malls, all within walking distance of each other. I don't remember what the sign for the exit says, but Google maps shows that the cross road is called 65 / 14 / W. Jackson St.
Would it be embarrassing if I admitted that the main reason we go to antique stores is because my husband wants to look for vintage Star Wars action figures to add to his collection? lol
Thank you. Does anyone know what time the ones in Ozark open? I will try to go to them on my way to Branson. I go south on 65 so will go right past them.
I have been going to Apple Tree a lot in the past fews years but the inventory doesn't seem to change much. I see things I know I have seen two years ago. There is so much you can make and sell. I know the economy has tighten my belt for buying and maybe are not buying that much either.
as long as they never remove the five and dime store downtown I'll be a happy camper! :)
Nobody better lay a finger on my five, and dime store! I love that place. ;D
no worries about that!
5 & 10 is on hallowed ground AND probably protected by the national registry!!! ;D ;D
We always visit Caldwells Flea Market on East Main (right across from the Gone With The Wind Museum) almost across from Starbuck's. Thwy are housed in an old Bowling Alley, and are filled with anything you would want!
