Does anybody know if Moonshine Beach in opened yet. I read that it was closed due to the flooding and they were hoping it would be opened before July 4th. We are making our LONG journey down to Branson next Sat for 10 GLORIOUS DAYS! I can't wait, and my children really want to go to the beach, so we are hoping that it will be opened when we get there!
The weekend of the 4th of June it was still closed.

Thanks, that does help! Disappointed, but I still have 11 days until we leave, things could change! ;)
I went by the other day and the water is almost still up to the walkways can't even see any of the sand. The Corp is no longer letting out as much water each day so I do not seeing it back down until at least begining to the middle of July and I think that is optimistic. That I do no know what kinda effect the water will have on the beach itself.
