I hate ferris wheels! I love the views, but the height, and waiting at the top, and rocking just bothers me greatly. I have not had a bad experience or something like that...I just would choose to have my feet on the ground!

Being Las Vegas I am surprised they aren't building it on the rooftop of a casino with part of the ride leaning over the edge just for that extra "thrill."

Actually, according to the article it seems that this Ferris wheel will resemble the London Eye more so than a typical carnival Ferris wheel. With that being said, I would much prefer to ride a London Eye style Ferris wheel with their enclosed capsules, and to know that the ride is a permanent structure rather than being dissembled every week, and moved somewhere else.

For those white knuckled adventurers out there, it should be really neat!

Actually, sanddunerider would probably feel right at home in the desert riding the sand dunes. So there is something for you to look for when you get to the top of the Ferris wheel rube!  :)
