Title: Branson Mine Golf Discussion Thread
Post by: Saaam! on May 15, 2011, 08:15:57 PM
I don't know if we have a thread on this, but how do you feel about the Pirate Cove Golf? I love it! It is a fun little place to go in a couple hours!

It is fun. It is also a chain, so you can take the mini golf fun with you in any of 14 states across the country!

Pirates Cove is one of our favorite mini golf places in Branson. We often stayed at Alpenrose Inn next door (name and management has changed in the last 2 years). We have also been to the Pirates Cove in Hot Springs, Ar.

Grand Country has a pretty nice 36 hole indoor course. Also can be quite reasonable if you have their Platinum card.

I remember that one when the restaurant was a Bonanza back in the early 1980's. We always wanted to play there but never did.

It probably isn't much different. Still looks very 70's/80's but it's in great shape and a lot of fun. Plus it's never hot, cold or raining. I didn't know there was a Bonanza there, was that when it was 76 Music Hall?

I'm thinking Grand County is around $6-$7 per adult for the indoor course by the restaurant. We have a discount card and I think all 6 of us can play for around $20.

fun country is very reasonable, i dont remember exact prices, but i think 6 or 7 dollars per person.

I know that last year 3 times we were the only ones playing and they let us play another round for no charge.  they just offered, we did not ask.  it was nice.

I love Pirates Cove! Made some great memories there. I do not remember the Grand Country mini golf well as it was a long time ago that we did that.

The newer Dinosaur mini golf is also fun, but it doesn't have the character Pirates Cove has.

I still can't picture where the Fun Factory is. 165 south how far? Past the winery? Before Fall Creek? Seems strange my kids haven't tried to get me to take them there.

My kids absolutely love Pirate's Cove.  I think it's probably the best mini golf in Branson, although admittedly I haven't tried some of then newer ones around town.
